Canopy by Hilton Portland Pearl District

The hotel is EXTREMELY not clean. There were bed bugs on our mattress and I got bitten badly. After we examined the mattress, we also noticed a huge stain at the end of the bed, couldn't tell if it's coffee or blood. The front desk assistant manager Sage was helpful in that she helped us get our payment back and moved us to the Hampton Court hotel next door after we reported the bed bug issue. But still--I have never lived in a hotel where there were bedbugs, even in motels that are $50 dollars a night. Imagine how irresponsible this hotel is--giving dirty mattress and bed bugs to customers, which forced us to sanitize all our stuff to avoid brining bed bugs home. It's not only hurting me physically, as I am having serious allergic reactions to the bites, but also huge time cost in cleaning and moving around. Also, the hotel is next to a park, which is basically a homeless camp.

Beautiful property with a lot of wonderful restaurants within walking distance. Great hospitality, easy valet, friendly front desk staff and bartending/baristas. If you're up for a longer jaunt, check out the Nob Hill district just about a 20 minute walk too. The only thing we had issue with is noise at night - both from the street below and what seem to be thin walls between rooms (or just noisy neighbors). Otherwise, the best time. The location is great and the staff are extremely welcoming and helpful; however, the room itself wasn’t well kept. A lot of the rug was pulled up and there were some stains.

Late-evening checkin agent very pleasant and accommodating. Valet service for car a plus. The fact it was 1/3 the price of the room is a bit extreme. Surrounding area is sketchy with homeless on the street down the block. I'm not comfortable walking the streets in Portland at night. Room smells of mildew due to a leak in a service area across from the room where there is a fan placed in front of the open water stained cabinet which is blowing smelly air under the threshold of the room. Noisy refrigerator. Drapes unhooked aprox one foot at each end so they are hanging. Bathroom simple, shower basin looks yellowed from age or wear. Nice Apothek amenities, but very limited. Sheets are average probably 300TC poly cotton blend - basic hotel sheets.

Was a fine hotel for one night but probably wouldn’t choose to stay here again.

$55 for car parking for one night stay. You decide if you like it. Otherwise, the room is clean. Outside is relatively quiet. Free breakfast.

We had no hot water for showers. Car was broken into at parking lot across street that the valet person told us to park in. Just a miserable stay.

Nice hotel. Just next to downtown. Parking was always available. The food was great. Breakfasts was good but slow.

The room service was inexistent. Leak from the shower flooding the rest of the bathroom. Coffeee maker did not work. In the hallway, the water and ice dispennser were broken. My experience was very deceiving. I paid almost 150 dollars per night for a terrible room and experience like hasn't been acceotable.

We had a couple hiccups during our stay, however the staff quickly corrected the issue. The location is great.

Staff was key to making this trip so nice. Thanks Jess, Wesley, and Ginger! Room was nice, roof top was sweet. The cleanliness and facilities I think were nice but only slight bummer was the shared microwave can get a little dirty depending on the other guests. Also, the walls are understandably hotel thin so could hear next room opening drawers and of course when the cleaning service is going on.

Did not like that check in was so late then the rooms were still not ready for the price we pay for one night without parking

The property was unique. The staff was wonderful, very accommodating. The lobby was cute. The room was a little outdated, but the bed was super comfortable which made of for it. The hotel is within walking distance to restaurants and shopping. A real plus!

It was in a quiet area and near a nice grocery store, restaurant, and Hello from Portland shop.

We were coming in with two littles from a full day of travel on planes and were kind of a hot mess. This staff was so friendly and helped us get settled. The hotel is beautiful and the bar area is great!

The stay was wonderful. Tim’s are well appointed and very comfortable. Front desk staff was helpful and amazing. Highly recommend this hotel. Note: The one bummer- found the bar to be an absolute mess. Terrible service including missing glassware, opened unavailable and lazy, disinterested, confusing bar worker . Luckily there are lots of great cocktail bars in walking distance. Go elsewhere for drinks
