Holiday Inn Express & Suites SAGINAW by IHG, an IHG Hotel

Well worth the stay.

It is not listed on Expedia, but be prepared to pay a $250 deposit on your $120 room. Also, if you ask them to do a late check out at noon, instead of 11AM, they will bluntly tell you no. Didn’t even offer the late check-out if I paid for it. Just No. Room was fine. Breakfast looked ok, but we decided to eat elsewhere

In general, Holiday inn is my favorite. This one doesn't disappoint me. The breakfast is great as usual! Parking is easy, room is clean and comfy. A couple of minor issues: check-in waiting time is long and midnight noise from the room above us.

Had a great overnight stay.

Pool area was very hot and humid! Another family in the pool opened the two doors and windows in there to circulate air, staff came in and closed them!! We are all now sick with stuffy nose and cough!!!

Not nearly enough parking. There were a ton of people outside the back door at 1:00 a.m. so loud both nights I stayed there.. I didn't even feel safe to walk past them from the back of the hotel all the way up to the front of the hotel to get inside

Took extra long to check in due to no one checking people out Our stay in July was much better than this one Breakfast was disappointing compared to last visit most hot items were empty Shower door when you closed it slowly started creeping open had to on numerous occasions close the door, which was annoying so something is out of alignment My husband left the room at 10:10 came to come back in and his card was deactivated. Luckily I was in the room and could let them in. I then checked my key and mine was deactivated as well. I thought checkout was 11 AM.

I would stay here again great location and rooms

I did not stay and the interaction with the front desk staff was not great. They were rude and inpatient and I was working on an emergency room situation. I did not realize my stay was not prepaid and on trying to correct it I was treated harshly. I am from North Carolina and this room was in Michigan.

Property was in a great location, close to dining and shopping

Staff rude. Hotel run down. Location sketchy. Guy barbecuing ribs at the entrance when we checked in. A friend of a staff member apparently. Held a 250 dollar incidental fee.

Definitely a used property. Alpaca to sleep and move on...$250 hold! crazy for this level of property.

They don’t answer their phone. Tried 7 times to let them know we would be late. No answer.
