Hyatt Place Eugene / Oakway Center

This is the best hotel in Eugine. We stay here everytime. The room is clean, the bed and pillow are great. The breakfast is also good, but I miss the one before COVID-19

Super nice suite that was also very reasonably priced. Staff member at check in was very kind. Everything exceeded expectations.

Excellent location, very clean but the bathroom sink drained pretty slow(not a huge deal), overall it was very nice and convenient at a reasonable price

Well located!

We loved staying at Hyatt Place whenever we visited our daughter in college. She graduated this year so we won’t be back to Eugene. We love the roof top bars ambiance and drinks. The staff gave us great recommendations for restaurants to try. Also, they were so accommodating and helpful with our moving truck. A big thank you for a lovely stay.

The location of the hotel was amazing, and we really enjoyed the fabulous downstairs restaurant and nearby shopping. However, on our first night, we noticed an insect crawling out from the couch, which was concerning. The following day, housekeeping did not refill the tissue box or the toilet paper, which was inconvenient. Additionally, we were disappointed to find the pool closed during our stay. When we asked the front desk about it, we were told it would not be repaired for another two weeks.

I was very disappointed with our stay at this supposedly "excellent" hotel. We were misled by Expedia that this was an exceptional hotel and that was the reason we booked it. But we arrived in the evening and the front doors were lacked with no directions of what to do. Just so happens someone was bring out some trash and told us to go up to the 3rd floor parking and take elevator to lobby. Once on the 3rd parking there was an elevator it did not take you to the lobby but locked hallways. In frustration going back to the car we saw the guy again and he directed us to another elevator that was to lead tot the4 5th floor lobby. Note: this elevator was not labeled in any way that it was the one that leads to the lobby. very frustrating when it is late at night after traveling all day. Once in the lobby the front desk agreed with us of difficulty of entrance, parking, elevator and checking in. he said that has been a problem but shrugged it off as "O well". Once in the room it immediately smelt and there were numerous spots on the floor. My wife tried to clean one so we would not step on it and the rag she used turned black after cleaning the floor. So we put down rags over the spots and stop cleaning. The room did not have a microwave so we could not heat up ant food we had. I went to the front desk to ask about the microwave and was told no rooms have them. even though he agreed with me the cheap hotels all have microwaves. again shrugged it off as o well! I informed him of the

We did not have full size towels in our bathroom when we arrived. Called twice before we got them.

Odd check-in on 5th floor. Charged $20 for parking even though site advertised all fees were included in the advertised price on Expedia. Will not return to this hotel.
