The 2 distractions were chain smoking guests on the 3rd floor. Reported to the front desk after a few hours. Unfortunately, the smelly odor permeated through the walls. Secondly, i was awakened atv2,30 am-4:30 am by repetive music. Couldn't go back to sleep. Then the cigarette smoke started again. Lastly, there's a 100.00 deposit required. Not a problem. Just unexpected.

All of the drawers were broken on the furniture, all of the cabinets were boarded up in the kitchen and in the bathroom. The boxspring boards were all broken as well. Staff was awesome, super friendly and very helpful but it looks like the ownership has really neglected the property.

There was a strange, sweet, smoky smell in the room. Lots of cigarette burns everywhere and burn damage in general. Lots of things rickety, old, damaged and in need of repair. Clearly an attempt to keep it clean has been made, however. There were no items at all in the kitchen, and no coffee, no iron. Bathroom toiletries just little sample packets. Beds were very comfortable. Good water pressure in the shower.

If you are just getting out of prison from the last 20 years, this would be the place for you. If you are a single mom and your baby daddy is in prison, this is the place for you. If you are homeless, looking for a roof over your head, this is the place for you. If you want a place to get high, this is the place for you.
If you are there for any other reason, stay FAR AWAY!! I'm honestly shocked that they are still allowed to operate. First, all the smoke alarms and fire alarms were removed. If there was a fire in the building, you would never know. In my room was carpet. It was damp and sticky. The sheets on my bed were ripped. The head board had a hole that was knocked into it. There was no toilet paper dispenser. There was no room service nor anyone who cleaned my room. They refused to give us a paper cup so we could drink water. The door to our room was difficult to open. There was garbage stacked at the landing. The best part of this stay is when we finally left.

I understand the hotel is a bit older, run down and definitely not that attractive. For its cheap price is the type of night we had. From the smell of mariguana and the second hand smell that surrounded the air to the schizophrenia person up screaming all night, which by the way lives there, made it really difficult to sleep at night!!! Instead of saving money we ended up spending more looking for another hotel. Definite not a place for kids.
