Generally good for the price. The room was comfortable but the bed was too soft for us.

Plenty parking space and we got a ground floor room, so it was easy to manage the baggage.

It was fine, except the restaurant was closed. They did a good job communicating that before I arrive so I was able to grab something to eat beforehand.

Tired and not looked after.

Unfortunately the kitchen was closed . But had a bit of takeaway. Was great

One one person on reception who was also running the bar. Restaurant closed. No air conditioning.

Will recommended to my friends travelling up from the south as in a great location and eas y to find quiet and a good night's sleep on comfy beds ,staff very accommodating and quick service

Comfortable bed, other than that I was astounded that the rating of the hotel was so high.

The hotel and staff were very good, however the restaurant being closed was a big disappointment. Had I known in advance I would haven chosen an alternative.

No air conditioning

Check in staff were friendly and helpful. No food available as problem with kitchen. Meant we had to go elsewhere to eat and hotel is not exactly close to anywhere. Only a continental breakfast was available (which in its elf wasn't great, so we decided to have breakfast at a local garden centre). House keeping items left in corridor all day & night. Overall, very disappointed for a change with a good reputation. No discount offered due to no food available.

First and foremost special mention to the staff who were very, very helpful. In particular Marie who went out if her way to get it right, a real credit! Unfortunately this place is let down with poor facilities, no restaurant, gym etc and rooms which were unbearably hot to sleep In.

Our stay was really amazing the room was excellent very clean and the staff are really helpful and friendly hotel was very quiet and relaxing would definitely stay again had an amazing time thankyou to all the lovely staff

Paid for Executive Room. Room was nice but air conditioning had broken down so room too hot and didn’t sleep very well. Windows don’t open. Breakfast was ok. Asked for poached eggs - first time I have ever been refused by a hotel. Bacon was greasy. Sausages were inedible. No staff available too talk to. Coffee, cereals, yoghurt and pastries were excellent.

The hotel is clean and the room was comfortable. Decor is a bit dated in places but for the price paid it was good value. Breakfast was good. I didn't like that parking is not included. It's currently five pounds for 24 hours. I could understand this in a city centre location but this hotel is in a country side location with not much around it.

Hotel was clean and comfortable, however you had to pay to park your car, which is ridiculous seeing as the hotel is at the side of a road with nothing around it, so non hotel users would have no need to park there!

Very disappointed that the kitchen was out of action therefore no cooked breakfast or evening food available, Although the accommodation was acceptable my request for a walk-in shower at the time of booking did not happen. Clearly this is a venue requiring more staff.

Quick stop after a long day of traveling

Good location away from everywhere but still close to places

Basic hotel. Clean and comfortable. Unhappy about having to pay £5 to park my car overnight. This wasnt made clear, otherwise I would have booked somewhere else. Room was clean and comfortable but windows were sealed shut and didn't open. No amenities and no shops nearby.
