I can’t say enough about this Inn. It’s so welcoming and comfortable. Everything was so nice and beautifully decorated with incredible details. The room felt like home with lovely decor and a very comfortable bed. I also loved seeing Penn State students studying in the lobby.

Traditional elegance. Immaculate with courteous and efficient staff. Not inexpensive but worth the price. Just as fine an experience as it was the last time we stayed there 25 years ago.

The room could have been cleaner. We found a big hairball on the carpet near the bed. Also the TV did not work properly.

Beautiful spaces. Fire place. Claw foot tub and Keurig machine in the room. Complimentary chocolates in the room are a nice touch.

Other than kids screaming in the courtyard at 7 am, our stay was incredible. The remodel is amazing.

I have reservations about sharing how great I think this property is today in 2024/2025 …. But it’s great for wealthy PSU fans. It’s just a bit pricey but so is everything in SC!

Nothing beats the Nittany Inn! Must stay if you can grab a room while in town.

This was my first stay at The Lion. Unfortunately, I am now spoiled and cannot stay anywhere else when I come to State College.

The property is absolutely gorgeous! The rooms are small but beautiful. The coffee shop is delicious. The valet staff were incredibly helpful in getting my luggage in the hotel, even though I was not utilizing valet. I did have a sign significant problems contacting front desk, staff in the evening hours. There were several technical issues with the computer systems, going down and room cards not working during my day . They’re were unsupervised children in the room across from me, screaming, laughing and running down the holes into the wee hours of the morning. The parking situation is less than optimal. All things considered, though I would stay again.
