I found a reddish microfiber cleaning rag on a desk chair left by ( I presume ) the cleaning person. The digital clock was not set correctly, an hour off which appears nobody changed it to summer time??? Other than that I had a very pleasant stay and especially the Hotel Shuttle drivers were helpful, kind and professional.

Clean rooms and comfortable beds. Hotel is close to the airport and has shuttle services available. All staff were friendly and helpful.

We barely had hot water our first night. The second night we had no hot water. The clerk on duty said she was part time and couldn’t do anything but move us to a different room at 10:30pm … which we were checking out the next day; she said to email the general manager which I’ve done twice with NO response. Terrible customer service.

Cindy was the main staff that we interacted with she picked us up at the airport quickly and was most friendly and courteous. Then we left at 4 am leaving a couple items in the room she quickly answered she would put them in the employee lounge a very efficient and correct thing to do. We will absolutely recommend Sonestra select to friends and family next time they stay near MCI as the only place to consider staying!

No hot water for a shower, grounds weren't the best but the lady at the front desk was great!

Clean, quiet, location was convenient on and off of the interstate. Stayed for baseball tournament, it had everything that we needed Would recommend, and would stay here again.

I like this property because it is convenient and it does have an indoor pool. However, I noticed that no one returned my message which I sent days prior based on my request to have a room near the pool. The whole reason why I always book this hotel is because of the 24 hour hotel transportation to the airport, and there is a hot tub and indoor pool. This is what set sets apart from other hotels. I was highly disappointed because it is no longer 24 hour shuttle service. Also, there is no microwave in the room and I had my grandbaby with me so I had to go downstairs to warm up his bottle and use the microwave in the market area. Also, no one informed me in advance that the hot tub was not functioning. I have booked this hotel for years I’ve had a response concerning my requests and in the past they also had a free continental breakfast. Gradually went to the grab and go now there is no Covid and it’s disappointing that there is no continental breakfast provided. For the first time, many of the doors accessing both the hotel, and the pool did not work with the key. I have been staying at this hotel for about 6 years. The only good thing is the staff is nice. However, everything else has gone downhill.

We needed Disabled parking, none on the side entrance we had to use to get to our room and ramp sidewalk was all broken up to walk on a smooth walkway to use to enter the building

I just got home from a one night stay at this hotel and I absolutely loved it! The room was so clean and comfortable. I wanted to take the couch home! The bed was super comfortable and an added surprise I had a patio outside with a couple of chairs and a table. I wish I were staying at that place longer because I enjoyed the room so much. A couple of things that I didn't care for but weren't deal breakers, the pool was down. I would have liked to have used that. Also no free breakfast... and they could use an upgrade on the TV in the rooms it was small and older but not a huge deal...wouldnt stop me from staying there or recommending it by any means! I loved this place and if I am staying in Kansas City again I will definitely go back. Side note if you're going to any event downtown like the funny bone Comedy Club this is a perfect location because it's only 5 minutes away and very quiet traffic between there and the venue.
