We were there to visit family and on the second day of our stay, we had a family emergency and they shortened our stay without hesitation and refunded the nights remaining on our reservation. The place was clean, staff very friendly and professional, breakfast was very good. We will be back next time in Portland.

Clean and comfortable bed/sheets with good thick pillows. Shower was large and very well stocked with shampoo/conditioner. A/C worked well and kept the room cool. Staff was very helpful and friendly.

Once we got past a little at the entrance to the parking lot, we were

Clean room, friendly staff, breakfast was good; eggs, meat, potatoes, tortillas, bread, muffins, bagels, waffle maker, juices and coffee. All were tasty. Rooms are clean and smell good. Bedding clean. Room came with mini fridge, microwave, blow dryer, full size shampoo, conditioner, body soap and lotion. The parking lot- It’s Dark!! Although I personally felt safe, my companion mentioned they did not and were uncomfortable going outside alone. Lots of homeless clearly high on something at gas station, the entrance to Hotel and the main streets and near by side streets. BUT I would stay here again :)

Staff were amazing. Room and service were definitely 5 star. Security was good.

It was the perfect location for my work at a nearby golf course. The staff, property, and breakfast options were great.

The room is nice and is one of the few properties left that has carpet so your feet don't freeze. The homeless population around there is a serious problem. It is not safe for my family to walk a block for fast food at night. The breakfast is ok, but the eggs are rubbery and the potatoes taste like they're yesterday's. Desk clerk gives off a vibe like he's serving a sentence

Really liked the accomadations but the area is not what I expected. Portland needs to start programs to house the homeless and at risk youth.

Spacious room, clean facility

The hotel is a bit dated. Very friendly staff. But be aware that you are at the homeless and addict hub. All around the hotel. Døthe hotel keeps their doors locked. People lying close by, pleasuring themselves on open street. Especially with children, keep away. Unfortunately, the friendly staff does not help with the overall judgement. And if you are allergic... They use a terrible smelling fluid in the ventilation. The smell is said to be a signature, but the one ordering it should get hus/her nose checked by a doctor. Disgusting. The room is average. The AC is louder as hell. The breakfast Shows, why many Americans are in a bad state. Not even a fruit was seen. Keep away!

Many homeless people in the area. Didn’t know it was such a problem. Would have picked a hotel in different location near airport.

The homeless population and the huge piles of trash made us feel very unsafe. we were asked for spare change on the way in and swore at loudly on the way out.

Very helpful, pleasant staff, very good lighting in parking area, liked the security of requiring a cardkey for entry, excellent water pressure, nice breakfast. Suggest more consistent or double security for the property to better deter the non-guests frequenting the property, or maybe a high electric-gate and surrounding fence. The security responded quickly to the persons looking inside cars but maybe double security or a gate will help. Suggest using same deodorizer in rooms as used in lobby.
