Von dem Moment an, als wir das Le Cliff betraten, wurden wir mit einer Herzlichkeit empfangen. Die Mitarbeiter sind nicht nur freundlich, sondern leben echte Gastfreundschaft – aufmerksam, zuvorkommend und stets mit einem Lächeln auf den Lippen. Jeder Wunsch wurde uns beinahe von den Augen abgelesen, ohne aufdringlich zu wirken. Man spürt, dass hier Service nicht nur gelehrt, sondern gelebt wird. Die Anlage selbst ist ein Traum: Weltklasse in jeder Hinsicht. Hoch oben auf den Klippen gelegen, bietet sie einen atemberaubenden Blick auf das tiefblaue Meer, eingebettet in einen liebevoll gepflegten Garten, der Ruhe ausstrahlt. Die Zimmer sind großzügig, stilvoll eingerichtet und makellos sauber. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die Liebe zum Detail – von hochwertigen Materialien bis hin zur perfekten Beleuchtung. Das Frühstück? Ein kulinarisches Erlebnis mit Fokus auf Qualität statt Quantität. Frisch gepresster Orangensaft, exzellente Eierspeisen und lokale süße Spezialitäten runden das Angebot ab. Kurz gesagt: Le Cliff ist nicht einfach ein Hotel – es ist ein Erlebnis. Wer Luxus, Ruhe und außergewöhnlichen Service sucht, wird hier fündig. Wir kommen garantiert wieder!

Cliff Bay is an excellent hotel. The rooms, service, happy hour, breakfast, pool, spa… all great.

Great place

Absolutely gorgeous and clean facilities, pools, rooms, and dining. I highly recommend the half board option, the food and service was impeccable. The staff was gracious enough to upgrade our room as a celebration for a HUGE job promotion I had just received (and the reason for my trip). Can’t recommend this place enough. The demographic is a bit older but my fiance and I expected this. The sites poolside were breathtaking and there were plenty of places to sit. Great wine selection and the menu at the main restaurant changed nightly making it so we never got bored. 10/10 Cliff Bay!

Beautiful, access to the ocean, great location, great staff

Fantastic resort

We paid for an ocean view room that came with either a king or twin bed. We were celebrating our 15 year wedding anniversary so before we went I sent them a message asking if we could have the king bed with a great view of the ocean. To my surprise they put us in the most beautiful suite, a gesture that was kind and beautiful but not expected at all. Such a fun surprise and made for an amazing experience at the Cliff Bay hotel for our first time in Madeira.

We were expecting the WOW factor, and the lobby did not disappoint on arrival, however when we arrived at our room, it was clean but a bit tired and could do with refurbishing. The fridge did not work very well and there was no ice maker. We raised this and were told that we could get ice from room service. A bit of a pain so we went to get the ice from the bar. Also it would have been good to have fresh milk for tea & coffee instead of little cartons. The food was very good, we ate in the Rose Garden one night and Avista Mediterranean another night. The food by the pool was disappointing. We would return but there are other hotels to try near by.

The location and views were amazing. Staff were helpful attentive throughout our whole stay. Would definitely go back.
