It"s a great bargain, but if you are a light sleeper the location may be too noisy. I only heard the sirens (there's a fire station close by) because I was awake.

I will never hesitate again to take a room at Motel 6. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the lighting was good. The Southbay Motel 6 is not in a good area - ALOT of racing cars and motorcycles, but once I turned on TV, the sound wasn't that bad.

Had a random girl assault me and than they gave the room to her and kicked me out

I stayed over a year ago for 10 nights and one year later the service is still top notch and the property is well maintained. The housekeepers are impeccable when it comes to cleaning and the rooms are modernly dated and comfortable. The only eyesore is due to underground sewage/plumbing along the entryway path. Otherwise, by far one of the top motel stays within the Motel 6 franchise!

The room was clean but the property had some construction going on.

I asked for a non smoking and they gave me a smoking room

For motel 6 it was not a trashy dope hotel It was clean and well managed

I stayed for 5 days and each day I would come back to the room it would be really clean.

Located on the corner of a busy intersection and right by the freeway. Sound of emergency sirens was frequent.

The tv didn’t work but the room was surprisingly nice and everything else was good.

This place is always our favorite because it is so close to the beach only a few miles away. Plus it’s very close to the freeway and lots of Places to walk and have something to eat. Thank you 6 motel for the easy check in we will always be back as long as they have available rooms.
