The beach is nice.

The gym equipment needs thorough cleaning as well as the gym room itself. The rest of the hotel is well maintained. I enjoyed my stay

Worst resort experience I’ve ever had. The staff are flat-out rude—rolling their eyes, acting bothered, and making you feel unwelcome the entire time. At the beach, they actually told us to get up so they could fold the chairs at 6 PM, cutting our day short. Any time you wanted a drink, you had to get up and walk all the way to the bar yourself—no service at all. The food was awful: repetitive, bland, and low quality. The hotel itself is old, dirty, and not maintained. Nothing about this place feels like a vacation. For the money they charge, it’s a complete rip-off. Do yourself a favor and book anywhere else—this place is a nightmare

The staff is at the property was maybe one of the better things of the hotel. Our room was not the best, dripping ceiling, peeling walls, tiles was lifting from the floor. In terms of riu hotels that known for entertainment it was lacking. They should do better to maintain the grounds better too. One of the best thing was the sea view

I want to thank every staff member who worked tirelessly and diligently to accommodate me and my sister during the hurricane. That was a huge curveball and we were unable to engage in the activities that we wanted to, but I truly thank the staff for their dedication. I pray the areas in the hotel that were effected by the rain will be fix soon enough. I would like to make a suggestion for better room service options. I also had difficulties with the Riu app. I was unable to book reservation for restaurants, spa and order room service. I totally loved the swim up bar, the beach and my room upgrade.

The inly problem we had with the room was the bathroom mirror stayed fogged and the floors sweated causing it to be slippery. Other than that our stay was very enjoyable. Yes, I would highly recommend The RIU for travelers.

My first stay at a RIU Hotel. Really enjoyed it. Staff does an excellent job of keeping the hotel clean. Front desk was great as well. Food was really good as well as the service. Everyone was so helpful and nice. Would definitely recommend this hotel if you’re ever vacationing in the Bahamas.

Staff was excellent made the trip enjoyable

Cleanliness of the pool and rooms were questionable. Should be cheaper - it's not a five star hotel. Overall, we had a lovely trip. Lots of weed-smokers on the weekends and you can smell it in the hotel :( The pictures look much higher quality than it really is. Also, we never really knew what was happening (food hours, activities) and we even downloaded the Riu app. The beach is really lovely!

Area was beautiful. The toilet stopped flushing the night before my check out and the shower water was never hot. But overall a great experience and fun time

The room was clean, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the restaurants were great. I really enjoyed my stay.

This property is falsely advertised as coming with room credit. In reality, you get coupons with additional terms and conditions. But the coupons are for things like weddings. Or $10 off of a purchase of $100 (in other words, imposing an additional term of requiring additional spend to obtain a benefit). These are deceptive practices. I can’t believe the resort would do this and Expedia allows it, but i guess that is the world we live in today.

The good beach

The only suggestion I have is to upgrade the TV and the available channels and apps. Our TV lost sound serval times and was very glitchy. We were in room 1531. Staff and service was excellent at all times.

Meal options were excellent, food delicious!! Discovered a roach in the bathroom approx. 3am. Didn’t see another one for the duration of my stay. Another member of my party found one in her bed. Staff should be required to wear hair nets. Found a long strand of hair on the sheets
