Great property close to town

Hotel was very cozy, about 2-3 km outside of St. Andrews. Loved the breakfast buffet, with cozy outdoor seating by the beautiful gardens.

All the staff very extremely helpful and professional. We stayed in the gatehouse with our dog which was ideal. Our only issues were the works required in the bathroom, there has obviously been a leek at some point the wall paper is coming away and the ceiling is stained, the tiles on the on the shower floor are loose and could cause an injury.

This property was fabulous. The staff was excellent, rooms were spacious and an overall beautiful property. Very quick taxi ride to town. Would definitely stay here again.

Such an amazing property, with English charm, amazing staff, great food and the ladies at the front were so accommodating! We felt right at house. We stayed in the mallard cabin family suite and it was so neat!

Lovely experience all around. The property is gorgeous. Our rooms were beautifully decorated, spacious and comfortable. The breakfast scrumptious. There is a cozy bar, perfect for a night cap. While it is a short distance from Andrew’s downtown, totally worth the spacious rooms and lovely gardens.

We were so looking forward to this splurge hotel for the last two nights of our trip. On the positive side: nice garden out back, the breakfast was plentiful, the bathroom was updated, and there is on-site parking. However, the overall condition of the property is not what is expected for the price. The decor is outdated and even garish in some respects. Hot pink and purple theme in guest room and lobby (hot pink diamond patterned carpet). The bed in our room was lumpy (had to be at least 20 years old). There is no A/C--even Scotland can get warm and humid--especially on the upper floors. Overall, this property is not worth what is being charged (>350 pounds/night).

Beautiful and relaxing location

The most charming hidden gem we were blessed to encounter. Everything we needed was there so there was no reason to leave, all the while being surrounded by a peaceful atmosphere. The layout of the cabin was perfect, clean, not cluttered at all. Loved it. The “fine dining” experience was nice for presentation purpose, but was way over priced and left us still hungry. Thankfully the 24 hour bar had a great menu that was much more to offer.

Everything Food Service Clean

An absolute gem just outside of St. Andrews. Only stayed for one night, but what a lovey stay. The gardens are beautiful, I loved walking through them after dinner. The room was well appointed and had homemade short bread. Plus it was so nice and quiet.
