The hotel needs structural maintenance. It could be nicer. The Buffett was excellent.

Nous avons deja effectué plusieurs sejours dans des hotels Barcelo en Espagne , aux Canaries en 4 ou 5 etoiles en dejeuner ou demi pension et tout etait parfait mais cet hotel Barcelo est a fuir absolument car ul n’est pas absolument pas digne des autres Barcelo. Tout d’abord, son etat general est tres vieillot dans les chambres avec des salles de bains des années 1900 , sur le balcon les separations avec les autres balcons sont ajourees donc on voit tout.Aucun intimité. Le pire du pire est la nourriture : le petit dejeuner est passable mais le repas du sour est tout simplement horrible. Pas de choix du tout , 3 entrees et 3 desserts qui se battent en duel et au niveau des plats un peu de choix mais tres peu et quasi tous les jours la même chose et en plus pas bon du tout. Comme nous etions en demi pension, nous avons demandé a arreter la demi pension et a mange dans le gastro bar en echange et ils ont refusé et aucune autre proposition.

Great facilities and very professional and pleasant staff. Pool area really tranquil and great for all ages. You need a car or taxi as it is remote from shops and Marbella town and the beach. Food options, specially in room dining could improve as healthy options were VERY limited. I wish I had known more about the spa! The Barceló app thing was easy to use but when I am on holiday I prefer to read things rather than looking at my phone!

Nuestra estancia fue muy placentera en el hotel, el staff muy amable y con disposición de ayudar, las habitaciones muy cómodas y con mucho espacio, el baño muy amplio y no había ruido que interrumpiera el descanso.

Excellent hôtel, très bien situé dans une zone résidentielle qui permet un grand calme, tout en étant proche de Puerto Banus (6min en voiture le soir) et Marbella centre. Les environs sont magnifiques, l’hôtel en lui-même est splendide, très bien entretenu (un grand bravo au staff qui s’active quotidiennement), des chambres, aux espaces vert, à la piscine, il n’y a rien à redire. Le personnel est très agréable, la clientèle variée (aussi bien familiale, que jeune et festive, que professionnelle) bref un séjour juste parfait ! Nous comptons déjà les jours qui nous séparent de notre prochain séjour à l’hôtel Barcelò Marbella !!

I arrived late at the property but had emailed ahead to notify that this would be the case. This was responded to with a very pleasant and courteous email. Check in was straightforward. The breakfast was amazing, with plenty of choice, an airy environment to eat in. Would definitely stay again when in the area.

I liked the property. Room cleaning staff were good. Reception staff were quick at saying no but not providing alternative. Restaurant staff were very impatient and take your plates away if you move from the table. Rooms were not sound proof. Room next to mine had a call girl in at 3.00am and making lots of noise. My 2 nights were interrupted and I gave felt tired since then.

Wonderful stay at Barceló Marbella! Spacious rooms, excellent breakfast, and friendly staff. The pool area was perfect for relaxing, and the location is ideal for exploring the Costa del Sol. Would definitely come back!
