Really loved front desk staff Ana and Gus. They made my stay extra special. I even extended my stay because I felt taken care of. Room service staff was 10/10. Amazing team all around. Will definitely be back. Thank you!

The location is perfect. Front desk staff could be friendlier. The bathroom had some mold due to age. Would not allow a late checkout, even 1 hour on a Monday. 3 stars out of 5

The staff and hotel was very good. Convenient to beach and boardwalk. The room was clean. My only suggestion for this hotel is to replace carpeting throughout the halls and rooms.

We loved the location of the hotel--great access to everything we need in Rehoboth. The room was very clean and attractive. The price was quite reasonable. We particularly enjoyed Alyssa at the reception desk!

Proximity to the Beach is great. Upon check in, the front desk would rather socialize then, help the guests waiting in line. Little to no direction after checking in. Disappointing based on the cost of the room. Will not be back.

It appears that the facility has recently been renovated. The Sands was chosen because of the boardwalk location with easy access to the beach and the pool overlooking the boardwalk. Unfortunately, there was only 1 day of our 5 day stay that we could enjoy the beach and beautiful pool.

Our room was comfortable. Hotel however a bit outdated. Hallway carpets rippling, and the place is huge, quite a maze. Signage was great, but getting the luggage buggy around was a challenge. No hotel ever has enough hooks or whatever to hang towels. I have actually purchased over the door hooks to bring on vacations. Wasn't a one in our room. It was a double bed room, what were we to do if there were 4 of us with wet towels?? Not only this place, it's everywhere. The restaurant/bar on site was nice. We didn't eat, but ventured to the bar to take cocktails back to our room. That was a plus. Weather was conducive to using the pool, but it looked lovely.

Best thing about the Atlantic Sands is the location, which couldn't be beat for enjoying Rehoboth Beach. But no amenities such as breakfast, facility is run down and we had to call maintenance twice, once for beeping smoke detector and for clogged tub. Some front desk staff surly and not helpful at first. Others were more pleasant. We were clearly paying for the location as this hotel anywhere else would be rated about a C.

The Atlantic Sands is extremely convenient to the beach with great amenities including the Tiki Bar. We are already looking forward to returning next year.

Only complaint is that the shower water tends to spill out of shower which becomes a slipping hazard.

The property while dated was nice. But there were bugs in the bathroom I took pictures. Our box of Fractured Donuts was filled with ants when we got back from the beach. We had a room on the 4th floor. We didn’t bring this to the attention of the staff. Will not stay there again. Anna Hoover

Stayed in a Queen Suite South room and it was great, except for the water pressure in the shower (horrible). Otherwise, it was super clean, and the limited ocean view was fine. Staff were all very nice. They have a great pool with adjoining bar/restaurant (although stick to the menu drinks...I tried to order a strawberry margarita and had to send it back twice...LOL). Great location close to everything. Would definitely return.
