We were there to celebrate our son's 27th birthday by staying with him and our other son who is 21 in a family suite. We go swimming, soak in the hot tub, and really enjoy having breakfast in the large breakfast room. We are going again in October !!!

Beds are super comfy and the staff is second to none. The hotel is showing its age and could use a deep clean and some updates.

Lovely big rooms. Very clean. Reception staff were friendly. Great breakfast. Easy parking. Pool area was a little run down.

Convenient and fun kid pool/slide and hot tub for the parents. Breakfast hours were a little early but decent meal for the road. Helpful and friendly staff. Great to have some EV chargers. Not a great gym but good to get some basic exercises in while on holidays.

This hotel is firing on all cylinders! Impeccably maintained in all aspects. One repair to a bath sink to establish decent waterflow was completed the next morning very promptly. Every detail of the ground floor room was exceptionally maintained - no nicks on walls, paint scrapes, failing tub caulking/mould or similar signs of wear. Feels like a brand new property. A solid 4 Star property thst many 5 Stars would do well to learn from!!

We stay at this hotel frequently and love it! Very clean and the staff a extremely friendly.

The front desk staff, specifically Owen, were very friendly and welcoming! They accommodated an early check-in which was greatly appreciated. The hotel is older but well maintained and everything is clean. The rooms were spacious and had everything we needed.

It is a nice-looking hotel and the room was large and comfortable. I thoroughly enjoyed the pool, waterslide, and hot tub area. We also found the trail at the back of the hotel very pleasant. Lots of options for breakfast. We loved our stay at the Bayview.

Nice hotel in the heart of Courtenay! Not too much interaction with staff, but they were friendly enough when we checked in. They were too busy upon checkout to actually interact, so we used their key-drop. Nice pool, fun side for kids. Great experience

We liked the nature walk by the hotel. The room was overall quiet but AC was quite loud and next to the bed. AC unit was close to bed impeding walking at night which you need to be conscious about. Not really built for tall people with mirrors being too short and lamps in breakfast area being too low We could not screencast from iPad to tv (could get audio but no video) so called front desk who said they would have “tech” call in 5 minutes but nobody ever called :( Breakfast was fine and had good variety, although the sausages and eggs were not very warm. Price was reasonable for the night with breakfast.

Comfortable rooms and great breakfast. Kids liked the pool area. Some areas showed aging but overall a great place to stay.

Excellent, personal reception/welcome. Room was good. Sure all would have been good but had to check out at 5.00am to catch ferry! Good location for food outlets and lovely circular eco walk immediately outside round the little airfield and up the Courtenay River
