The hotel’s setting was ideal for my plan to walk around Edinburgh. The staff were kind, knowledgeable, and accommodating. I would definitely stay at Hotel du Vin my next trip to Edinburgh.

Great experience and welcoming & helpful staff. Very enjoyable breakfast. Inside courtyard is peaceful retreat from city. Quirky architecture means that it does not feel like an identikit chain hotel This is an ideal place to visit the Old Town and a place to stay for University of Edinburgh graduation ceremonies being close to McEwan Hall. Note that no parking on site, though a q park is 5-10 mins walk.

正面の入り口やフロントはこぢんまりとしていますが、アットホームな雰囲気のスタッフや、顔を合わせていないルームクリーニングのスタッフの心遣いがとても気持ちの良いホテルでした。 広々としたトイレとシャワールームとは別に、居室の窓辺にバスタブが設置してあり、窓からエジンバラの空や街を眺めながらのゴージャスなリラックスタイムは至福の時間でした。 部屋の設備も充実しており、バスルームには100V対応のコンセントもあって、日本のドライヤーもそのまま使えました。 フレッシュミルクがコンプリメンタリーと書いてあったので、電話で頼んだら、ピッチャーに入れて持ってきてくれました。 部屋にある大きなマグカップで、備え付けの紅茶をたっぷりのフレッシュミルクでいただきました。 ただし、バリアフリーではなくて、2階でリフトを降りて４階まで階段で上り下りします。（最上階の部屋でした） お部屋はワインの名前がつけられていて、番号ではないのがユニークです。 朝ごはんも素敵でした。 素敵な滞在をありがとうございました。
