Me and about 10 other folks couldn't be checked in because the system couldn't receive booking info from 3rd party apps. Some of the guests were getting fairly annoyed at the problem. Front desk turned us all away and were told to call whoever we booked from and get a refund. In order to get a refund the 3rd party app has to call the hotel and get a waiver but the hotel doesn't answer their calls. I tried for two days to get a waiver so I can get my refund and Expedia says, they're not picking up the phone. I come back the third day to speak to the front desk staff to get a good number for Expedia to call them back and finally they answer.
My first time at this hotel the room they gave me had a broken TV so they move me into another room. The second time, the front desk offered me a double queen room since they were out of the King room, when I asked 'why is that?' with a not so happy look, the front desk person gave me a King Suite instead.
I've booked next door dozens of times at the Springhill and never had any problems. I get it, it's always not perfect but everytime I book at this hotel there is always something.
