The hotel overall is fine. My issue was checkin. I received an email with a link to do a pre-checkin. I completed all information and was informed my checkin was complete. Upon arrival, I was greeted by a video kiosk and was expected to re-do the complete checkin process. Ok, no biggy, BUT I am hardbof hearing g with a service dog. Trying to hear the person on the other side of the video was difficult enough but made much, much worse by his thick Indian accent. I repeated told him I could not hear him well enough to understand so he got someone else - with a heavy Indian accent. The process was embarrassing and uncomfortable and there should be a live person for backup.

I should have done more research, but this was not what I expected. If this were categorized as a 1 or 2 star hotel, I would give it a 5 star review. I definitely would not call it a 3 star hotel. Pros: the staff was friendly and efficient, everything was clean, the exterior is freshly painted, and the interior has been updated. Cons: it’s a motel, not a hotel. I should have seen that by the photos, but I was in a hurry. It’s not in a great part of town and I didn’t feel great leaving my vehicle there overnight (definitely take EVERYTHING inside). Being a motel, the outside noise is louder than a hotel, since you have 2 exterior walls. The AC is about 8 inches from the bed and blows right on the person sleeping in that spot, which makes it tricky to make everyone in the room comfortable. It’s also very, very loud. Mixed opinions on mattress comfortability in my group, but you can’t please everyone anywhere, so I’d say that one is neutral. Also, breakfast is brown bag grab-and-go, but does include a microwaveable breakfast sandwich and yogurt, which was better than I expected from a bag. All in all, I did not have a bad experience for what this is: a low budget motel. It’s just not what I expected from a 3 star hotel.

The hotel would not allow a family member to visit onsite. Management was very rude and lied to get out of providing a refund when we left early.

The hotel was easy to find. The staff at check in and check out where very kind. Clean room and felt like it had recently been updated.

Front desk not very communicative. Supposed to be a pool? Room phones not working, not told until mentioned at checkout.

It was good. The staff was friendly and lively

Dirty floors and smell

Lots of noise coming from the street. Pool is very small. They overcharged us and then said that the manager would have to help us on Monday; we left on Sunday. There was also another guest complaining about being overcharged. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable but we did have to air the room out when we first got there. I would not stay here again.
