Everything was great! First of all, the hotel is located next to a mall so, you'll find a lot of things to do 😎. The breakfast was also really good. They have all kinds of food so you won't easily get bored eating the same kinds of food again and again 😋. The room is clean and comfortable. One thing I think is genius is the floor of the bathroom has heaters (context: the floor is made of marble so, it's naturally cold 🥶) because of this, getting out of the shower and going to the bathroom in the middle of the night was surprisingly pleasure-able ☺. The hotel has anti-slip rugs that you can request if you're traveling with children/seniors, they also change your sheets every 3 days but, if you're like me and prefer your sheets to be changed everyday/every 2 days then you can request that to the guest service hotline through the phone in your room 👍. Housekeeping also gives you extra towels, water and other essentials but, the unwritten term is you have to request it! 🥲 (which lowkey we didn't know before 🥴). That brings me to my next point, ✨ The Service ✨. The concierge were very helpful though they don't speak much English so, having a translator/speaking Chinese would be great! Personally, a concierge named Pearl helped us a lot. She helped us book our boat tickets to Gulangyu, booked our appointment to Xiamen University and helped us with most of our needs in general 🤩 🫶🏻. Anw, LASTLY! Hmhmhm soo I'm guessing everyone is wondering "China's internet is blocked from the international web so, how do I use foreign apps here!" Answer is, the hotel has VPN-ed Wi-Fi 🥳 so you can access Instagram and other stuff with the hotel wifi but, because they usually accept Chinese tourists you have to ask for help from the concierge (call the hotline 😉). In conclusion, I really recommend this hotel and will totally be staying here again next time I'm in Xiamen. Thank you! 🥰
