I had a great time staying at Cheonggye Haus! The place is 3-5 minute walk to Gwangjang Market, famous for textiles and variety of “street” food. It is also along the Cheonggye Stream. The place is also close to bus and subway stations which made my trip very convenient. I am a solo traveler so it helps that the place is easy to find and have famous landmarks that are known by every korean. I requested for a room with a window and they were able to provide me one. My room is also in the second floor. I did not expect that it will also include a washer but it did! I did not have to bring dirty clothes back home. :) There are 5 floors, 6th floor is the rooftop and there are no elevators. So, this may be a disadvantage to some who will be staying in upper floors. Considering my room had a window, I still slept comfortably without noises from the street. I usually go home at 10pm, most stores are closed and the walkway is a bit dim. But, I never really felt scared to walk at night. You should consider this when booking this place. Also, there is a 7-11 just about 50m from the place.
