优点 - 酒店对面就有投币式洗衣房 - 酒店周围有自动取款机和小超市 - 步行到市中心（Concubine）有点远，但用Grab打车又太近 - 酒店房间全新装修，干净整洁，空调也不错 缺点 - 由于是旺季，入住手续只能在下午3点办理 - 由于系统故障，入住流程耗时较长 - 房卡刷卡进电梯和房间时不太方便，我不得不回到前台重新刷卡

Booked this room same day check in. The hotel lobby was very quiet even though it was the 1st day of Chinese New Year. Less lighting, dim out lobby. Only 1 female receptionist. The hotel location is good in the city, walking distance to most city attractions (food/culture) and Ipoh Parade Mall. The hotel interior, corridors, room dimly lighted and rather surviving old outlook which requires major renovation as I see many spots on walls which are patched up with paint. Car park limited but there is free car park first come first use basis by giving vehicle number and your mobile number, but the car park is narrow which is difficult for big MPVs. The room which was allocated was overall clean (dust accumulated on top of the cabinets), the toilet is ok with good hot water at shower, no hot water on hand basin, hand basin refitted with "Stainless steel "Mr. DIY" cold water tap" which means hotel management prioritize practicability but not luxury. The sitting toilet bowl was old but clean and water flashes operationally well. Basic toiletries provided and also has a hair dryer attached on the wall. The room has large windows which could be opened. Traffic noise does come into the room. The room's air-condition works well and temperature can be controlled using small panel attached to the wall. There is a 36" flat TV which works on 3 local channels only which closes about 1am (Not satellite channels). A small refrigerator is available but empty for your convenience to cool off can/bottle drinks you buy from outside, the hotel provides 2 bottles of RO filtered water and 2 packets of instant coffee with an electric water boiler kettle. The bed was non hard/non soft. These twin beds seem light is roll on type but stable. Bed linens are clean and smell clean. 2 Pillows on each bed which is good but the pillow is spoggy soft, does not hold up your neck level well, so I do not use the pillows. Overall, I slept well and felt safe by double locking the door (The room has smoke detector on ceiling). Check out was speedy.

Ipoh Downtown hotel is so far better than most of the cheap hotels in Ipoh. Room is clean, very spacious, and comfortable. Overall is very OK and recommended.

Lokasi hotel sangat strategis. Dekat dengan Gerbang Malam dan Ipoh Parade. Banyak kuliner khas Ipoh seputar hotel. Will back again 👍.

Clean, Cozy and Confi. Close by to most of the famous eateries. Most of all enjoyed the high pressure hot shower.

Nice location. Attractions and food are all near the hotel 😍. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. But the hotel shower is not too hot 😩 and the TV had limited channels. Overall is good 👍🏻.

It's always my choice whenever I am in Ipoh. I like the location which is easily accessible to food and shopping.

The venue was strategic, as it really near to most of the famous foods place. However, the hotel parking just limited.

Hotel and room were great! Location is strategic, delicious dimsum just behind the alley. Negatives were lack of proper parking space which was also very limited, and can be very noisy at night due to vehicles passing by.

You can't really expect much from a 2* hotel. No swimming pool, no restaurant and no free shuttle. But the room is clean and no smoky ordour. The fourth floor was quiet as I was in the room for a many hours during the hot sunny days. Perhaps it was sold out and anyway I like the off-season periods. Very strategic place, most eateries can be accessed with a 3-5 mins walk or a RM4 e-hailing service. My commute was that for a week stay as driving and finding parking lot is much of a hassle.

Henry was really helpful and detailed in answering my queries. He's also thoughtful, offering to help with my luggage. Had a very good sleep, too. Definitely will be back. =)
