This hotel is perfect. Room is Japanese traditional style, I think most room has balcony and view. We went there in January when it was snowing, the view was just breathtaking. We really enjoyed the outdoor private onsen (they have 2), overlooking snow and trees. Located just 1 bus stop right before Shinhotaka Ropeway (Both takes about 2 hour if coming from Takayama). The owner helped drive us to the ropeway station and even offered to pick us up on our way back. Great experience.
