It was my second time staying at Sofyan Hotel Cut Meutia, and it was a pleasant experience.
What I love the most is the strategic location, it is just within walking distance to some places like Taman Ismail Marzuki, Cut Meutia Mosque, Gondangdia Station (for KRL Commuter Line), some feeder bus stops, and a lot of food stalls and restaurants. And yes, you can go to the Car Free Day (Sunday) with under 2km distance from the hotel, so it's good!
The room itself is quite spacious for its price, and they provide a Smart TV in the room. One thing to note about the room (maybe only my room?), The first time I came, the room felt like a wood odor, but it's only a few minutes until you turn on your AC. We also got a bottle of drinking water that can be refilled by using the dispenser in the hotel corridor, which is good.
I didn't take the food or go to the pool, but I went to the fitness center, which is a small one; they have two home-gym machines, an indoor bike, and a treadmill. Unfortunately, the treadmill isn't working well. I have asked the Front Office when I am staying there, and hopefully the management can fix it. But overall, since the fitness center is empty, I can use the machine for myself.
Another thing to note, I asked the FO if I could get any Sarung for pray, but the FO only said they would check it and didn't inform me later. But in general, the staff are friendly and helpful.
But overall, I love staying in this hotel and really a good alternative when I cannot found the other hotel that matched my requirements.
