This time, I was disappointed with the staff member, WAWAN, and the room facilities/cleanliness.
Upon check-in, I was asked to deposit 100,000 Rupiah. I only had 50,000 Rupiah in cash. I was then asked if I could transfer the deposit. The staff said no, and offered no other solution than to have the money taken to an Alfamidi (an Indonesian food store) 300 meters away. The regulations should be flexible, allowing guests to transfer money if they don't have cash. Since it's set up in the Traveloka app, guests can pay with debit or cash for the 100,000 Rupiah deposit.
Then, I booked a "no smoking" room, and the room smelled very strongly of cigarettes, and housekeeping had to ask for hotel slippers before giving them to them.
This time, I was disappointed with the service.
