Notre séjour a été conforme à nos attentes. Le personnel s’est montré disponible et serviable tout au long du séjour. L’établissement bénéficie également d’un emplacement très pratique, ce qui a rendu notre expérience encore plus agréable. Seul petit point à améliorer : veiller à l’ambiance sonore au bord de la piscine (musique parfois un peu forte et cris occasionnels), afin de préserver encore davantage le confort et la tranquillité des clients. Chambre affreuse au rez de chaussée, pas de fenêtre, literie de mauvaise qualité, très bon petit déjeuner , personnel agréable, stationnement facile dans la rue , environnement affreux.

J’ai passé 2 nuits merveilleuses à l’hôtel. La réceptionniste était très aimable et accueillante. L’hôtel est bien situé et reposant loin du bruit de la rue.

I stayed for 2 weeks at Villa Jade. There are pluses and minuses to this place Pluses - Staff were friendly and helpful - Peaceful and quiet with a good breakfast - Close to the beach and restaurants/Shops - Swimming pool and small gym Minuses - Dirt track to villa which when dry is fine but god knows what it would be like when wet. - In need of LOTS of maintenance. It may have been recently been bought as they were doing some small refurbs. But the bedrooms are quite outdated and many areas not in use (verandas) due to lack of furniture. The gym equipment is mostly old and broken - I felt because of the above I overpaid for the 2 weeks. £710 for 14 days equates to c£50 a day and that is a lot given its Senegal and the state of the villa. This I say with complete confidence as I travel a lot for work and in some countries I pay a lot less for better value. given the negatives I dont think I would stay here at the same prices but could consider for the future and I hope they proceed with the updates and maintenance

Everything was very good

Staff very, very friendly, always happy to help and flexible with special requests or payments (Paypal is accepted in the hotel). But it helps to have some skills in French, only in English it might get difficult but also manageable. Room already a bit older vut with charme, more storage space like a bigger table or chair would add value. Wifi very good and stable enough for FaceTime Calls. Breakfast in the pool area basic but always delicious and nice, despite not much choice available. Power and water supply rather unstable during my stay but hotel staff compensated this inconvenience as best as possible (when there was no water they offered free breakfast, drinks etc.), very cool gestures! Hotel is a good choice when you want to be close to Ngor and the beach, supermarket and restaurants also nearby. Always safe and calm around the hotel but the streets are in poor condition (as almost everywhere in Dakar). When you want/need to go to the city center, a taxi is needed and costs you a lot of time due to traffic. Overall a very nice little, clean and charming hotel where you get great value for your money. However do not expect a 4* accomodation...

Nous avons adoré notre séjour à la Villa Jade. La villa est chaleureuse, la chambre était spacieuse et propre, avec une belle grande terrasse. La piscine est vraiment très belle et pratique après une journée de chaleur. Le déjeuner offert est généreux et délicieux. Mais surtout la grande gentillesse du personnel et le désir de nous aider, fait toute la différence. Je recommande fortement.

Place was decent and quiet you wouldn't even know there's people in the other rooms. The location is very convenient only walking distance to the supermarket and restaurants around. Very nice and helpful staff as well. Definitely recommend👌

Great location.

Very charming small hotel with a lovely pool. The location is great for exploring the northern part of Dakar and only 10 minutes walk from Ngor beach + modern art museum around the corner. Their mosquito net had some holes in it but we pointed it out and they fixed it immediately. Btw always check with reception how much a taxi should cost to a certain destination and then be ready to negotiate a lot with the taxi drivers :/

We were welcomed with az smile and a great drinks. Ms. Jade was a phenomenal host and a greater person. Nous avons été très bien accueillis et les chambres sont très propres et le décor fantastique. La piscine voluptueuse, les arbres et les fleurs jalonnaient tout au long de la cour et la véranda. L’endroit est calme et zen et le personnel professionnel et courtois. I have stayed at the J guest house in the past. It has always been a very positive experience.

This was a last moment booking that turned out to be a very good choice. Very comfortable and in a great location and a very reasonable price. If you're heading to Dakar and need a very nice place to stay--- you'll be glad you chose Jade Guest House.
