We stayed two nights in Athens before our family reunion cruise. The hotel location is in center of Athens and just 10 minutes walk to the life style area of Plaka. Our room is clean and beds are good. However, the room has not enough lights and is too dark that you cannot do and find anything. I encountered an incident with a male receptionist at the last day morning when I want to take breakfast at the hotel lounge. He spoke in lengthly and flowery sentences and with in-appropriate vocabulary, that he told me I was not authorised to eat in their lounge because the computer did not carry my check-in record (after I stayed two nights!!!). Things were finally straightened. Overall, I wanted to praised the house keeping staff and also the customer services manager Joanna whom was very helpful on booking car transfers and managing my luggage.

We stayed here for the first time recently and absolutely loved it! Our room was cozy, but the finishings were beautifully curated and the layout was smart and practical. Pro tip: if your mini fridge is tucked inside the nightstand (like ours was), keep the nightstand door open while your drinks are cooling - the fridge works so much better that way. You can thank me later! Service was seamless - friendly staff and quick check-in/check-out. And the location? OMG. Plaka, the Acropolis, charming shops, amazing restaurants, rooftops, nightclubs, and bistros were all just a short walk away. We literally walked everywhere worth visiting - nothing was more than 20 minutes from the hotel. Skip the tour guide fees and just explore! We’ll definitely be back!

The hotel is conveniently located near the Acropolis and is next to a bakery. The beds are rock hard, so if you want a good nights sleep, I would look elsewhere.

If you want easy walking to shopping, food, and archaeological sites, this is the place. Just north of Monastiraki square, which is a great jump off for shopping and sight seeing. Plenty of amazing places to eat. Just walk around and you’ll run into something. Moxy is modern, clean, and friendly. The staff realized we were there for my wife’s birthday and decorated the room. This place is safe and fun. I’d definitely stay here again.

It was a little far from the main historical sites, but it allowed us to get our steps in and see the full city. The staff was very friendly, and it was so nice to have a food/drink venue in the lobby. Room was clean and very spacious!
