They were very friendly and hospitable. Room was clean and bright.

For the price the property is reasonable. Although it has been advertised as breakfast included, there is no breakfast or not even coffee included

My highlight was meeting the owner and his wife. So knowledgeable about many things. It was a delight to talk to them and learn about the culture. This is a small hotel but it was really well kept up and very clean. The bathroom was great - a kitchen to make coffee and tea and a small breakfast if you wanted it. Not many restaurants nearby, but one that is an 8 minute walk. I chose to eat there several times (named "Coffee Boss"). Great selection of cafe drinks and a great menu of food. Very plant atmosphere and servers. It was a perfect place to be that was close to the airport.

Great for overnight transit stop. In a safe gated community. Excellent for the price, nice and clean. Host was friendly

I'm so pleased to have stayed at the Ared Villa. This is a great location - near the airport - and a great price - so affordable for the quick night or two after arriving or before departure from Colombo. The proprietor and his wife are the kindest people; they do a lot of good work for their community and the country (so please support them). There are at least 4 good restaurants within a 10-minute walk from this safe neighborhood.
