AFTERNOON TOUR BEGINS AT 13:15 AND ENDS AT 17:15) Meet up at tour operator's office at 24 Hang Buom Street, Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi and receive a brief introduction of the trip as well as some safety guidelines on how to safely navigate through Hanoi streets on a bicycle. Set off towards the majestic Hoan Kiem Lake, learn about its history and significance to the Hanoians. Next, visit the St. Joseph's Cathedral and head towards the well-known Street Murals, passing along the train street. On the cycling route, participants are taken through the most interesting parts and markets of the Old Quarter. Go through narrow-car-free alleys to hidden backyards so you can get a real feel of how life has been there for centuries. Stop at the Citadel North Gate, the Hanoi Flag Tower and Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, soak in the rich history of this amazing city. Continue along beautiful treelined streets and breath in the fresh air around West Lake, Tran Quoc Pagoda and Truc Bach Lake. Experience how tranquil and peaceful it is just 15 minutes from the buzzling Old Quarter. Adventure on narrow paths through impressive banana plantations and vegetable gardens on Banana Island that cover the fertile grounds of the Red River Delta. The noisy city suddenly seems to be far away. The trip winds down with a local homemade egg coffee at the local café and will end whilst cycling back through the Old Quarter. Tour ends at 24 Hang Buom Street.
