The Quintessence of Tonkin

The Quintessence of Tonkin is an outdoor spectacle that reaffirms Hanoi's position as the cultural capital of Vietnam. The 60-minute show, which is performed on water, presents the traditional elements of Vietnamese culture in an innovative and contemporary manner. It combines skillful performers, a mesmerising set, delightful water puppetry, a stunning light show, and an evocative soundtrack—even making use of the nearby Thay Mountain as part of the backdrop.
