I could not fly to Luanda due to my childs sickness. This was explained to the hotel and they didnt want to cancel my reserving and give me my Money back. Very bad Customer experience

Excellent facilities for a hotel in Luanda. Great choice for first time visitors to Luanda who are looking for safe, clean hotel. Food was very good and the fitness center was stocked with working equipment. I would definitely stay there again.

Very nice and clean hôtel with a very good gym area and swimming pool. For sure I will go there again

They were fantastic, provided us with a room upgrade, allowed for a late checkout. The service and cleanliness was exceptional.

It is just a place to stay - it is extraordinarily expensive for what you get! no real dining experience; a buffet for $80 pp is excageration! really not worth the money spent!

I will never stay at this hotel again because the way we were treat at the from desk by the staff. They said none of our credit card was working and when we explained that the problem was their credit card machine and their bank. They did not care and we had to use cash for meals. After 2 nights the manager did do anything besides blaming us their credit card machine not accepting our card. We went move to another much nicer hotel down street ( hotel Epic Sana) where we had not problem with our cards.

Gostei muito da minha estadia no Hotel Trópico. Os funcionários foram muito atenciosos.

Expected more for the money paid. Very limited food selection, bed was good pillows were lousy / don’t accept AMEX / maybe won’t stay there again

I love the ffod and people are nice. The rooms need to be prvided with iron and board and the frigobar was empty.

The half board option is very good, however the breakfasts, the lunchs or dinners are the same every single day.

The food is getting better, and half-board option does save me a fortune in Luanda, and the quality of the lunch and dinner are not bad at all.

It is walking distance to Epic Sana hotel where we had some conference. If Epic sana is too expensive you can stay in this hotel and can walk there.

Good experience: the hotel now has half board for either lunch or dinner. Bad: There was no kettle in the room and no welcoming fruits as they used to serve.

The reception ppl are not so well spoken which it makes it difficult to communicTe

There was no tee/coffee with kettle in the room. Should you wish, you can ask at the reception.

I stayed 4 nights but there was no refill at all for shampoo, soap and tissues although each one completely consumed during the stay. That’s disappointed.

I've stayed here a couple of times for business. The check in process is not smooth as they sometimes can't find the bookings or don't add credit to your account and you find out later on that you need to pay cash for everything because they forgot to add your credit card to the room. The rooms always smell like mould. I complained and was told they all smell like this. You basically need to just tolerate it. It's located very centrally and close to the island. Angola is expensive and not value for money which is what you get here. A lack of Ala Carte menu for dinner is a problem as the buffet is pricey.
