Property was very clean and well maintained. Staff was very friendly. My family and I can't wait to come back when the renovations are done.

It’s been 10 years since I stayed here. John the Bellman is amazing and one of a kind. You must seek him out. He will take very, very good care of you . ❤️ Although they were upgrading the pool we had an amazing room super close to the beach which is why we came. It was truly beautiful. We were disappointed with the fact we didn’t have hot water for showers for 4 of the 7 days. The resort reminded us it’s a timeshare & they didn’t really care. After disputing they felt only $100 resort credit was acceptable which was a fraction of what we paid for one night. The prices at the timeshare for food, drinks, etc were so high & pricey we can’t afford to go there anymore. Further you could once get a palapa easily 10 years ago. Now you have to share with other resorts, the public & get there by 7:00 am. I like to sleep in on vacation but Aruba & Eagle beach are overbuilding, overcharging and is not small & charming like it once was. Places gave closed & even the locals were asking me if I see what they did 10 years later & I do . I am sorry to say this was my finale trip to La Cabana. It’s too overcrowded even during low season. I also won’t even address the airport, rude people and 4 hour line & barely making flight. The airport is significantly worse too & overcrowded. This finale trip broke my heart for an island and resort I visited over 6 times and left me very sad with what it has now become.

This was our 3rd vacation at La Cabana. It has everything you need Easy to get a taxi into town. Beach service was great. Lack of chairs and shade at pool.

The property is very nice and a quick 5 minute walk to the grocery store. The beach is clean and right across the street with complementary chairs to use. The downside of the property is a late check in of 4p.m. and an early checkout of 10a.m. Most activities on the property cost money.

Property was clean and well maintained. Also close to beach, Did not know the main pool was closed due to construction. It made for extra crowds on beach and forced to wake up at 5am to get a hut

On the best beach, many food choices and super happy/nice people.

They are renovating the large pool and area around it until December 2025ish so it is blocked off. There is a smaller "adult" pool where kids could swim with adults. People put towels on chairs/loungers by 7AM and seem to stay the day which isn't considerate of other guests. There is also a toddler pool. The restaurant choices on-property are 3 plus a gelatoria and Cinabon. Sunset has a car rental desk in the lobby for convenience. Resort staff are very helpful and kind. Large grocery store is within a block. Full size frig/freezer, gas stove top, pots, fry pans, microwave, microwaveable bowls, strainer, pitcher, toaster, cooking/grilling utensils and place settings for 4 are provided. There are grills in the courtyard of the property. The bed is very comfortable, seemingly a larger queen size. Never ran out of hot water for showers. Tap water is very good to drink. There is a safe in the room and a broom if you, like me, desire to keep the sand accumulation down. I greatly appreciate the discount that made it possible for us to book this wonderful accommodation.

We were not happy that we were not informed about the renovation of the pool.

This resort is not 4 stars. Main pool is closed place is not updated and there is construction everywhere. Check in is late and check out is early. Restaurants are not good at all. If you are planing to stay in a resort with all amenities do not come to this place.

Construction on pool which I was told would be finished by Nov 24, when I was told the construction would be until Nov 25, l was told I could not get a refund but would lose my total payment, will not stay there again

My wife and I have stayed at LaCabana 10 times over the past 20 years. The staff and facilities are first class. They have an excellent gym facility and are currently doing renovations of the swimming pool area to improve the customer experience. Have added pickleball courts (2) and several grilling areas. Best beach in Aruba is across the street.

Beautiful beach! Great location, friendly helpful staff. Clean, well appointed studio apartment. Construction in pool area was inconvenient.

The stay was great we love Aruba. First time staying at La cabana the hotel is very nice clean and a good location however, we were never made aware of the main pool closure. That was very disappointing. hotels.com should’ve made us aware at the time of booking

Lovely clean hotel right next to Eagle Beach. Not as much activities in the area compared to Palm Beach a little further up the road but was still a nice quiet location.

No geral, achei excelente o Hotel, com serviços completos e bom atendimento. A questão da disponibilidade de cadeiras na praia é um problema de mentalidade dos hóspedes, fugindo ao controle do Hotel. Uma pena!
