The room and facilities were great but we were really disappointed with the service. We checked in around 3:30 pm and stepped out at 4. We asked specifically if there was going to be dinner served, they said yes. We got back around 8 pm and were told that the kitchen had closed and we should have put in an order for dinner before 7 pm. We mentioned that we had specifically asked about the dinner before leaving so we could plan accordingly and were told that we would be able to have dinner at the hotel without any mention of this 7 pm deadline. They also made no attempts to organize any sort of back up dinner plan (not even instant noodles) and the rest of the city was also closing up because it was winter so we couldn't even step out to get a bite. We were forced to eat chocolate and drink beer from the minibar and go to bed hungry. We mentioned this during check out and didn't get so much as an apology, just weak smiles and nods. They only thing they did was waive the cost of the minibar snacks after we said we wouldn't want to pay for it given that we had no other option for food. Overall the hotel was comfortable, had great decor and was well kept but the inexperience of the staff and service clearly showed. There's really no major benefit to heated bathroom floors if your guests go to bed hungry.
