The rooms were clean, staff was incredibly friendly the amenities were enjoyed! Our place was perfect and fit our family of 6 nicely. The place was well stocked and had everything we needed to fully enjoy our stay

Very nice spacious apartment well looked after. Large kitchen some small appliances could do with an update due to age but all worked and served us ok. Close to boat harbour club, where we had nice dinner within easy walking distance. Main shopping area is a short drive. Pretty little town.

Hotel was amazing, the view was spectacular!! The room itself though had a few items that needed fixing like the sliding door to the main room was broken, the sliding door to the lounge was extremely difficult to slide and the ensuite was very rough and had broken splatter rail and tiles throughout tho none of this spoilt the stay it would just be nice of the owners fixed this as they are renting a penthouse so it needs to be penthouse standard.

We were there for my son's wedding and loved the property. Lots of room and lovely. only part was carrying all our luggage down 4 flights of stairs as we left on the flood bound Sunday. Had to get our cars out of garage as it was filling up fast. Really enjoyed our stay even with the weather on the Sunday.

Really nice apartments. Great location for dinning and fresh seafood. Nice pool and bbq area. Really good for business trips and family holidays. Great price and friendly helpful staff.

The Apartment was in a good location directly opposite the Boat Club where you could have meals or drinks. A lot of Tours left from this area as well. It was a great apartment, three bedroom with ensuite and a large deck with concertina doors. The living area was huge, a great place to stay. It does need a little maintenance mainly painting but we could see that the deck ceiling was recently replaced with new LED lights, not painted yet. So I assume they are trying to paint it and upgrade the lighting soon. We would definitely stay there again, good position, nice pool, great room.

The Akama Resort is a high quality apartment resort. The rooms are large, spotlessly clean, with all you would need for a great family stay. The location is perfect for whale watching trips as it is only a 5 minute walk to Hervey Bay marina. There are several good quality restaurants and bars nearby.

We stayed in a 3 bedroom unit, the unit was spacious and comfortable located on the 2nd floor. We had a view of the pool area. Staff are lovely! Excellent area easy walking distance to Whale Bay center and The Boat Club. Would definitely recommend.

The apartment was very spacious and had a well stocked kitchen utensils. Good view of the ocean and well lit with folding doors on the balcony. The blinds were bit out dated and didn't block light coming in the bedroom in early hours of the morning. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and the pool and spa.

Had everything we need for very comfortable stay. Dana at the front desk was extremely helpful and we felt very welcome there. The apartment and the facilities are top quality and well maintained.
