Not my cup of tea

Basic room. Included microwave cutlery and crockery but could have benefited from tea towel or hand towel.

Guests in nearby rooms talking incessantly until after 3:30 am, and resuming by 5:30am

Room small

The property suited our needs, was comfortable

I liked nothing about the room. The room reeked of stale cigarette smoke, it was disgusting! The only place to sit and watch the tv was on the bed. The bed was on castors on a lino floor with no bed head. When you sat on the bed and leaned back against the wall the bed rolled away from under you. I’d been driving all day both of the things I mentioned only made relaxing non existent. I had planned to leave at seton the morning, I woke up at 3 am, the stink was so bad that I left shortly after. I won’t be back!

Really convenient but bed on wheels slippery on the floor not ideal. The newish sink quite small. You cannot fill the kettle or a drink bottle

The bed was comfortable, but the overall place was dirty

Outside stair lights did not activate early enough in dark; access to our room up back stairs - narrow areas with clutter and trip hazards; narrow balcony made access difficult with luggage.

Friendly staff, convenient location

A bit confusing where to find receiption and room. Water is cold in washing basin. Loved the facilities in the room of microwave, coffee, etc and the biscuits which is rarely available in others.

Room was very run down and needed to be painted badly. Bathroom wasn’t too bad. The water pressure was good. No hot water to the basin. The carpets up the stairs were dirty and needed to be vacuumed and cleaned. Cutlery looked old and well used. From the outside it looked great until you got inside.

Dated. Clean room though. Bed slid around floor as on castors on hard floor. No microwave. Bed comfortable. Close to shops

Bed clean and comfortable, fridge, microwave and tv worked fine. Crockery clean. Bathroom door came off runner. No tea or coffee.

Staff service, cleanliness and amenities are ok. Most of the the rooms are in the interior part of the building and no outside views or natural light. Call and make sure if you care about that.

Location is good. Obviously still a work in progress. There was no spoon or teaspoon. No teatowel. Window couldn't be opened. No chair, just a very small stool. Bed comfy. Towel and linen clean. I can see the potential,

No hot water in our room, dishes were not cleaned properly when we arrived, and no-one at reception to speak to about our concerns when checking out. Keys to a lot of rooms all just scattered on the front desk when we left so I gather there wasn't anyone on duty all morning.
