Amazing views. Room a bit tired. Bed and pillows not great

Loved this stay!! Amazing location, got hours view!!

Nice studio appartments, small nice balcony over looking the Strand. Many rooms are updated, always stay in those. Close to many restaurants, walking distance to groceries. I always stay here as it is reasonably priced and has off street parking (limited but many)

I expected a 4 star hotel. But it's actually a run down 2 star motel room. Good location and glorious views. But zero frills included and rooms in desperate need of some love.

The location of this hotel was great - across from the beach and next to nice bars and restaurants. Nice size room, with adequate furniture. Bed linen good, appliances in the room good. However, the shower leaked terribly and bathtub was in need of replacement. Mostly what I was not happy with was the attitude of the staff. I complained about the chilliness of the pool water and the manager retorted "You are in the tropics now". I live in Brisbane, Queensland. Maybe he thought I came from the South Pole! I informed him that I had been in Port Douglas the previous week, which is 4 hours drive further north into the tropics, and the hotels I stayed in up there had heaters take the initial chill out of the pools. I spent many an hour in their pools. Also, I stupidly left my expensive Samsung phone charger still plugged in when I checked out. I returned to the hotel only five hours later and was told by reception that the next guest had not yet arrived but the cleaners had been through the room. I fully expected to get my charger back. However it was nowhere to be found. I accept that it was my fault for leaving it behind but due diligence would dictate that the management ring the cleaner to see if it was found by them. Instead I was told there were many chargers left behind and there was no reason for the hotel to keep them. Do they throw away good phone chargers or steal them?

Amazing views to wake up too. Best location. Clean. Aircon was on for our arrival. Definitely will stay again and would highly recommend others to stay here too

Lots of noise from the street. Hard to sleep

Fabulous views ,close to amenities ,in all a great 2 night stay.

It was a convenient location and accessible. The actual room was dirty and had mould on the kitchenette cabinets and through the bathroom. Buy some mould killer and go through the rooms one by one cleaning the mould out of them. Very off-putting and most likely won't stay there again.

Great location with views looking towards Magnetic Island

Room was immaculate, very comfortable bed and lounge, Staff were amazing so friendly and helpful, views from my balcony were awesome location great. Shops nearby, café and coffee shops on the doorstep

Vi kom när personalen gått hem, hämta nyckeln i ett skåp, fungera bra. Att låna strandhandduk kostade 3 dollar. Tvättmaskin fanns. Ingen frukost men bra ställlen fanns precis i närheten. Närhet till strand med nät som skydd mot maneter.

Beautiful location and great staff. Was difficult to find a car park on one night on the premises but found street parking close by. It was a great place to stay and will definitely be back again.

Great position but no desk staff after 6 pm …No instructions on TV . Put in room next to awful noise next to restaurant next door . Have stayed there before but this was the worst .
