it was a nice motel, the room was okay but the price paid understandable. the staff were friendly and answered any questions. the location even being on the main road was quiet.

It was good for us as we had our fury friend but very noisy next to the main road but convenient to shops and hotels.

OK for an overnighter. Road noise and leaking toilet were drawbacks. Host was welcoming.

The whole experience was terrible. The room was tiny, outdated, with leaking taps and beds from the 70’s. Paint peeling off the shower floor, which was in desperate need of repair. The railing on the smokers deck is wobbly and unsafe. The manager kept trying to come into the room with tradesmen, while the baby was sleeping, and my daughter getting dressed. His dog roamed freely in and out of the room. A totally unpleasant experience over all. We couldn’t wait to get out of there.

Location was excellent with lovely view through the few trees to ocean. Motel manager very helpful and friendly. Although complex was old it had most facilitites and was confortable. Would stay there again.

We only had a stop over at this place so it was all we needed. Large room, seperate shower and toilet which was good. The beds were fine, typical motel style beds. Room was clean and we had a room at the back of the motel so there was no roadside noise. I would stay here again if I was passing through.

Is ok for a stop over. Beds are due for an upgrade.

Avocado Motor Inn was an enjoyable time which I very much appreciated. Hospitality was great and cleaning ness very good l would recommend this place to anyone as l will endeavour to return again at a later Date

Owner was very friendly and helpful. Rooms are 'tired-looking' but comfortable. We walked to a local hotel for dinner.

Very clean room, though architecturally somewhat dated. Too small for three adults. Lot of truck noise every couple of minutes up to midnight.

The room had everything in it. It was a budget room, but for an overnight stay on a long driving trip very suitable.

This is a comfortable stopover for anyone needing an overnight rest. The owners were courteous, friendly and helpful as they welcomed me to their motel. Bearing in mind that it is rated 3 stars, don't expect luxuries. The beds were comfortable, the room was clean and the shower was hot! There were the basic facilities you would expect in any motel room - kettle, fridge, iron, toaster, TV - as well as free WiFi. The biggest drawback is that it is right on the highway and quite noisy.
