Normal motel but a little expensive

Nice staff and clean

The room was great — parking at the door, clean and large room, help with my disability. The bonus was the included breakfast and we went to the restaurant for a lovely dinner meal. It’s very convenient to have the restaurant on site and there are lovely gardens to walk around.

Can't fault the place, I would stay here again, loved everything about this hotel.

This is a great place to stay and good value for money. The restaurant is also a good option for dinner and breakfast. The only improvement i would highlight is that the tiles needed regrouting in the room i was in.

I just found that the mattress was not suitable for my back. Otherwise it was fine but starting to show it’s age like me.

A warm, friendly welcome. Decent facilities in a quiet environment. Free breakfast in clean, comfortable surroundings. We'll definitely return.

Two things I liked about the place is the friendliness of staff and the cleanliness of the tiny motel room we were given, room 4. But it is wrong for the property to advertise itself as a resort because it simply is an old and outdated motel. I don't want to be unfair, but I haven't been in a small old motel room like Room 4 for fifty years. We even had a blanket with a cigarette burn in it. Going to the toilet and then having to wash our hands in the kitchen sink isn't acceptable any longer. There isn't anywhere in the bathroom to place a toothbrush or razor. Overall I suggest the room we were given was simply mean. At least the front office staff looked a bit embarrassed when I got there and protested about our room, although there was no remedy offered. We were there for two nights only so we put up with it, but never again.

Warm and welcoming, facilitative reception. Comfortable room inclusive of breakfast in the dining room. Excellent value.
