It was a pleasant surprise for me that, among all our travels in Tasmania, this is the best place we have stayed so far. The room is extremely clean, the staff are very nice, and it’s within walking distance to a supermarket, restaurants, and a bakery. It’s just near the beach, and it’s in a very good position. I would definitely come back if I visit Burnie again.

We stayed just for one night.
Location was perfect and we had a nice view of the beach. Very clean and affordable, we enjoyed the free breakfast. Even though we stayed over Christmas, breakfast was not served in the dining area, just delivered to our room, everything was great.

Room was excellent and the bathroom clean and modern. My only issue was the constant music from the bar which leaked into the room. Just a hazard of staying at a pub. Staff were excellent and made sure we knew to go watch the penguins in the evening.
