Floors were quite dusty, little insects crawling over anything left on bench. Bed was very comfortable, bathroom needs a good going over as far as cleaning.

Always my go to in Bowen

It's an old two storey dated property, close to beach, Studio, was small, QSB, Sofa bed not made up. Tiled floors, very small bathroom with shower. Microwave, fridge, gas stove top. Fans and air-con. Bed was comfortable. Stayed only 1 night. Close to walking paths, parkland. Closest hotel for dinner was Queens Beach, you need to drive there.

Ocean was visible rooms are basic. Aircon good. Hot water was hot. Everything you needed for a visit. No WiFi but that didn’t bother me. Pool wasn’t attractive and probably area could just do with a bit of TLC. But the owner is running 2 parks. Very quiet as that’s what I needed. And close to everything. Had lunch at horseshoe cafe. Pricey and forgot my lemon and tartar sauce Lips Chinese very nice but make sure you order as a 1 hour wait but did push it through for me which was nice. The best pie I had was at a little cafe in the woollies centre called Mareka. Absolutely beautiful

Excellent stay Caretakers are very kind gentle souls

The room itself was quite ok for the price, got pretty much no sleep with old mattress and bed made so much noise with least movement. The grounds and gardens very neglected, pool was green dirty, would think health hazard just being there. Security dates to about the 70,s, fly screen doors didn’t even close properly.

Room was nice and clean, Extremely friendly staff and a great environment!! Right on the beach and great for family’s

No dishcloth to clean up. Food left in fridge from previous guests. Pool and bbq not clean and not resembling photos.

I used to love this place but not anymore,curtain is dirty,the bed is uncomfortable.ocean view but i don’t think you enjoy the view just sitting on the balcony cuz get distract how this place get managed,I rather pay an extra than staying here again.Very dirty.the carpet is so old.i won’t recommend this place .unless you fine with dirty carpets and the curtains .pillow cushions is really dirty too.just my honest review.

Great location, right in the beach short trip to town. Room was comfortable and clean, but wasn’t quite set up for three of us. Only 2 towels on arrival, and no extra pillows, and blankets. I guess we were lucky the pull out was made up with sheets I guess. I would stay again cos it was cheaper than most. The people running the property were nice. No daily service on the weekends tho.

No one’s fault it’s just old I guess. Could be bit more cleaner though. Overall good value for money. Very good communication from the host.
