In general the accommodation is more or less good in terms of location, room space and cleanliness. However I did have a not so nice experience during checkin. I have got an email from the hotel offering me an upgrade to level 5 or 6 before my stay, which I have confirmed the acceptance via email. But when checked in the hotel on 27-09-2025, I was told by the reception that the offer and confirmation did not appear in their system and the upgrade was not validated. This has caused some chaos then. I have to stay in a room on level 3 to the end of my trip.

The location is good but the facilities are a bit old.

The staff are friendly and always wear a big smile. The room is big though a bit dark and worn, but it's still cozy to stay. There's a restaurant inside the hotel. The food are average but at least convenient.

Very conveniently located and has sufficient car park spaces. Street parking is also available outside the hotel. A traditional hotel accommodation with a good enough small restaurant for a short stay in Launceston

great location which stated in the heart of Launceston, walking distance to sites. Friendly and efficient staffs. Room in normal condition

Best site. We could visit shopping mall and good restaurant on foot.

The hotel is quite old and in need of a refurbishment. The bathroom especially needs some attention, the amount of limescale on the shower head was awful and the shower head was loose in the wall. The toilet had rust stains in it. The front desk seems to refuse to let anyone check in before 2pm even if the room is ready which is astounding. The rooms let in every single bit of noise from the hallway and outside so sleep is hard to come by.

Great central comfortable location

As seasoned retired adventurers' who travel within Australia and internationally regularly, we rated this 2-night stay barely an 'average': only because of its location, large TV in our 4th Floor King room & the ease to get onto Hwy 1 south, home. Some of the negatives included, being advised that we had to pay $10 each day to park: I cannot remember the last time this happened on our travels, the noise of closing doors, excessive noise from the laneway cars/bikes, old room including a small bathroom that badly needs renovation if they continue to ask for the daily rate charged, impossible to make the room 'dark' at night due to poor curtains, light from outside, bright TV light we couldn't hide even with pillows, etc We only buy from Expedia as Platinum members & we will not be staying here again: very disappointing. Our thoughts: maybe you should look elsewhere for better value for your hard-earned money.

The hotel is also just a short drive away from the famous Tamar Valley Wine Region, a place known for its beautiful wineries and vineyards. Quiet spot in the middle of the city

Everything was good, not the fancy hotel but great location to everything

This lodging was chosen for proximity to airport and provision of airport transportation. This service was excellent. Driving time to the airport was about 10 minutes. We were without a car which limited meal choices. Meals were either at the motel or a 10-to-15-minute walk to pizza, a pub, chip shops etc. Not all were open on Sunday. The staff, reception and drivers, were very helpful and friendly.
