A really fabulous location! The Broken River tracks (and platypus viewing areas) are literally a 5-min walk from the cabins. Cabins are dated in their decor but clean and spacious.

We really liked the seclusion and tranquility of the resort and its closeness to nature. Especially the easy opportunities to see platypus in the wild. The staff was friendly and efficient. Will visit again sometime.

Location cannot be beaten and staff were very good. Eco-credentials did mean no air-conditioning (not great when visiting during a heatwave) and coffee was only International Roast. Washing up liquid and tea towel provided, but no plug for the sink?

Generally quite a nice resort. Location is nice, the property is showing signs of age. Staff were friendly and especially liked the wood fire and fresh wood supplied each night. A shame the local store has closed and no mobile coverage and no petrol. Great that resort advised prior to arrival.

Our room was warm with an oil heater and use of a laundry was a bonus. The bed was comfortable but had to wipe down the wall near the fridge as it was dirty and the microwave hadn’t be wiped out. Was great to walk to view platypus and would stay again. Dinner in the restaurant was good home cooked meal and other dinners were very friendly.

The property was super close to the platypus viewing platforms. Beautiful grounds. The whole barramundi fish dinner was fantastic. The room interiors are a little dated but the room was clean and comfortable.

Wendy and the entire team were lovely and took very good care of us during our stay. Dinner cooked by Chef Joe was delicious, served in a beautiful woodland style restaurant area. The perfect place to enjoy a meal after getting to see 3-4 platypus for the first time! Thankyou very much to Wendy, Joe and the Team for a lovely stay!

Good hotel to see the platypus and rainforest, very clean and good room facilities (fridge, microwave, toaster, sink etc). Staff very nice and helpful although reception only open until 5pm which is a bit early to close! Food only takeaway and only at 6pm and not good for vegetarian. Overall good stay :)
