Great property and location

Loved the heritage cottage, beautifully decorated and so comfortable. All the supplies you need on hand with some little treats to feel welcome. Communication was easy and so friendly and helpful with recommendations of where to eat and what to see and do locally. So quiet and peaceful. Felt like home but better! Definitely recommend and I will go back again.

So relaxing, the cottage catered for all your needs and I absolutely loved the beautiful, sheltered cottage garden with all the lovely birds.

Cherry Plum cottages was an absolute gem of a fine! It was traditional, quaint and delightful set in its own cottage garden, overlooking a field of llamas. Sitting on the Veranda in the evening whilst having a barbecue was such a lovely experience in the peace and quiet of the countryside. The room itself was so very comfortable, clean and traditional. Lovely touches were left everywhere – sweets in a bowl, jams, honey and other condiments, biscuits and even a decanter of port!

Dianne, the host was fantastic. They had a cancellation and upgraded us to the bigger cottage at no cost. Beds were comfortable and it felt just like being at home. After a few days driving the Great Ocean Road, it was just what we needed to kick back and relax.

What a gem! Dianne was a great host with impeccable communication and her love of the property is evident in the attention to detail she shows in the property’s presentation. Loved the quiet farm-like surroundings with a couple of beautiful highland cattle and a herd of alpaca. Situated only a five minute drive from town, you could definitely walk there if you wanted to. Loved our stay and hope to return someday. Definitely recommend this gorgeous property.

The cottage was perfect for us. We wanted a nice, quiet, warm (it was a really cold weekend) and casual weekend away. We got all that with some really interesting history thrown in. Great stay.

Was a wonderful place to stay with all the required amenities and a few little extras provided as well. Stayed here with my husband and 5 yo and it was perfect for us. We cooked one night and ate out the other, same for breakfast. The garden is lovely and we enjoyed watching the Fairy Wrens playing in the afternoons. At the end if the street is a mini golf course which the little one enjoyed and otherwise it is about a 10 minute walk or 3 minute drive into town. Definitely would stay here again.

My husband and I had a lovely stay at Port Fairy the cottage was clean, cosy and we were welcomed by Di. She’s a lovely host also leaving us essentials like bread, milk and chocolates. Would definitely stay there again ☺️

We loved the cottage inside and out. Homely, warm and comfortable inside and with all mod cons. Beautiful gardens and very secluded. Diane was always very helpful and thoughtful during our short stay and provided us with lots of little extras like a high chair for our baby. Hope to stay here again someday.

Really helpful host. Excellent included continental breakfast plus chocolates and port. Well equipped with extra touches. Good selection of DVD’s, cd’s and games etc.

What a delight! We loved our charming acottage with its lovely garden and beautiful antiques and comfy linens and amenities. We were surrounded by historic buildings and nature at every turn—flowers fruit trees and birds and llamas. What fun! Thank you for a memorable and thoroughly delightful stay in darling Port Fairy!

This was the most charming cottage imaginable! Comfortable and cozy! The property manager was so sweet, leaving us milk, "good" water and everything we needed for a breakfast in the morning. From the bathrobes hanging in the closet to the cheerful fireplace, it was a wonderful stay.
