We originally had been allocated a disabled access room, but upon request, we were then moved to a beautiful suite for the remaining two nights of our three night stay as there was no other option for all three nights.
The suite was lovely - everything was immaculate. Special mention to Alex and Kylie for sorting out the room swap. Comfy king bed, great facilities including a laundry, cooktop, oven and microwave, and a luxurious bathroom.
We paid for parking at $20 per night and it was convenient and safe. So many local dining options both within the hotel and outside. We walked to the lake each morning and enjoyed the spacious, green and leafy Talopea Park on the way.
Close to everything, and extremely well presented, with a gorgeously spacious foyer.

Very good location. Hotel located between Manuka and Kingston, supermarket, cienema, restaurants are in walking distance. Only 15 minutes car drive to airport.
I found very difficult to find a taxi in Canberra. Fortunately, East Hotel's calling taxi service is very efficient.
With very helpful staff .
If no restricted free Wi-Fi inside room is perfect. Only 100 mb free Wi-Fi provided.
I will choose East Hotel again when I come to Canberra.

Our stay at East Hotel was excellent as always. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, and check-in was smooth from start to finish. Parking was very convenient, especially with the on-site EV chargers.
A special mention to Todd, who went above and beyond to accommodate our request even though I had mistakenly booked a different room type. Room service from Agostino’s was impressively fast, and every reception staff member we interacted with was respectful, friendly, and genuinely helpful.
Check-out was also a breeze—it literally took under three minutes. I’ve stayed here multiple times and have never had a bad experience. East Hotel is definitely my go-to whenever I’m in Canberra. Highly recommended.

Been wanting to staying here, having seen the great reviews, and I was absolutely happy with this stay.
Staff were lovely, managed to get early access to our room and got a text it was ready.
Room was very clean and spacious.
Only thing to complain about is that, the parking was all taken out the front when trying to check in, noone was checking in so clearly patrons of the pub across the road had taken up the spots for guests to pull up to do a quick check in and move to the car park.
We loved the coffee and dessert from Agostinis.

Only issue was the airconditioning. It was a bit warm and pad in room said 18 degrees. Checked with reception and told, they control settings and was 20 degress and only activated with movement. That explained we hot at night, no movement and no airconditiing. Asked to adjust to 18 and stay on. However, that evening, again, air-conditioning went off and hot. Disappointed.
