An ancient pyramid in the hinterland...welcome to the Gold Coast!

The setting was beautiful & the location was terrific but the property needs a lot of work to Bring it back to how it once was

Loved the convenience of parking in front, great bed, excellent shower water pressure and tea making facility. Plus cabin was in great condition with no floor noise at all and felt safe at all times.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Spa and Fire place were perfect for a romantic winter get away. Reasonably priced compared to others. Would stay again.

The setting was lovely but after reading everyone’s reviews I was worried about what condition we would find our room. It was reasonably clean. Cold water tap in bathroom didn’t turn on. It definitely needs an up grade as there were loose tiles in the bathroom.

Great when attending a function there, lovely grounds, lots of space. Needs updating.

No TV coverage veranda and patio light globes need replacing. Spa taps require new tap washers. Insect screen replacing on the veranda door.

The smoke alarm was faulty battery and was going off all night, there emergency number was uncontactable. No hot water. No mountain view like the room advertised. False advertising. Dirty bathroom and balcony. I left it cleaner than I entered it. No contact or staff available.

Property need maintenance, only had Manchester supplied for 2 guests when booking was clearly made for 3.

The Pharaoh Lodge is awesome, well themed throughout. Really nice grounds and the restaurant is great. Will definitely return.

The rooms are really run down, not really clean and have living and dead cockroaches. The bed and the pillows are absolutely horrible feels like your sleeping on concrete. Wouldn’t stay here ever again.

Beautiful setting with a bush outlook. We loved the spa and fireplace. Beautiful spot for snuggling in for the night. The gardens and on-site restaurant were fabulous to explore. Beautifully lit at night time too.

This place was disgusting..shower spa both foul..bugs everywhere holes in the walls..soggy biscuits not worth the price..blankets never been washed..ew..

Comfortable but tired looking accommodation. spa bath a very big bonus

The theme room was what was the draw card and didnt disappoint, unfortunately bit tired fittings ect. But we enjoyed and not bothered but might others..

The place is amazing but needs a little bit of TLC. We booked for three people but only have a double bed and no linen for the sofa bed. Towels also were for two and one bar of soap for three people. The fire place worked a treat and there was enough timber. Never saw a human being and when we tried to contact the managers went to a message bank.
