Great location to take free zone bus and shopping. Close to harbor side and staff are super friendly.

Cleanliness of room and property. Things under the bed, window sills dusty, toilet flush buttons dirty, carpets in hall dirty, doona dirty, level 7 games area dirty - it has slipped since we last stayed. Breakfast is very basic too.

Staff very friendly and room with nice views

Need more towel in the room, no spoons or fork. Blankets were abit itchy to use. The rooms didnt smell as clean as i expected but overall, the service pool, spa and sky lounge access recommended to try.

The rooms were very basic, the beds quite uncomfortable. Definitely not full ‘Queen’ size. Even though we booked two rooms in a single booking, they didn’t mark our rooms together and we kept having to go back and forth. Had to ask them to clear someone else’s room service tray from the hallway after 2 days. Good location, just really underwhelming.

Bathroom was quite dirty, alot of mould in the shower, hair on the floor. Lack of hooks in bathroom to hang wet towels. Dusty in the room. Hallways looked quite dirty on the floor. We had to wait a long time on checkout day to pick up our bags as the had too little personnel working then couldn’t find our bags. We left 6 bags there and they had split them all so it was difficult to find.

Great place to stay

AC in the room was horrible. I had to call 3times regarding it, each time being told to wait 15mins for the room to cool which I had. I was then room moved from King bed room to two Queen bed rooms. I was assured the AC in this room was working. I had the temperature set to 18degrees, I should have been freezing. It eventually did feel slightly cooler but it never was cold. I did mention this to reception after I was moved but I did not want to move again. I’m not sure if it was the AC in that whole hotel as the lobby didn’t feel cool either. Check in, was horrible she asked for my debit card I asked what she needed it for but I didn’t get much of a response. I wasn’t informed of the facilities in the hotel or that there was WIFI. She just seemed to want to be over and done with it. The girl that room moved me was lovely and very helpful. I did like that there were shops close by and the tram stop which is part of free city loop making it easier to get around.

This was a last minute booking due to airport cancellations. Relied on the reviews of other guests which were very positive. Arrived and check in easily. Rooms very spacious and well appointed. Nice and quiet. Some food options also nearby. Would definitely recommend.

We mover the spa

Everything was very good except the television in my room kept turning off . Other than that it was a pretty good hotel to stay in for 1 night.

The bathroom was a bit dirty. The buffet breakfast was terrible. We went down at 9.30 am and there was no food left and they didn’t restock. We were left eating the scrapings out of the fruit and yoghurt bowls.

The only thing I can criticise is the shower in the morning was lukewarm.

Nice stay

I had a really pleasant stay overall. The staff were welcoming and friendly, and the early check-in and late checkout at no extra cost was a great bonus. The room was very clean, with good amenities and a comfortable bed, and the coffee was excellent. The location is great if you’re staying in New Quay for a reason. It’s quiet (almost too quiet at times) and a little out of the city, but perfect if you’re looking to just relax. Room service and the buffet breakfast were basic and below average, but for the price and location the stay was decent so I’d be happy to stay again.
