nice staff n good services

Very bad experience, every room is non-functional with noise and no air conditioning. Bad service. Would not recommend anyone to stay in this hotel.

This was easily my best stay in Melb. It was the Grand Hyatt team that made this trip memorable. Whilst booking this 4-nights stay, Ms. Linh Truong was very helpful in making the arrangements and ensuring our stay was perfect. Upon arrival, John at Concierge greeted us and took care of the luggage. Everything was promptly taken up to our rooms. Check-in was quick and efficient. The housekeeping team were friendly and stopped by everyday to check that our rooms were cleaned and amenities were refilled. The hotel is in a beautiful and convenient part of Collins Street with a stunning view of the Yarra River. The only qualm I have is the walls are very thin, you can hear the pipes when your neighbours use their shower. I look forward to my next stay at Grand Hyatt Melbourne.

Excellent experience overall. Great facilities. Great room. Excellent bed. Excellent shower.

great room & view. only downside is that parking is super expensive on site. $240 for 2 nights.

A perfect hotel and location for a few nights in the cbd

The best getaway weekend. Great bar.

We were very disappointed with the room, it was very tired and had a lot of things broken in the room. The bathroom was quite unclean. We expected better. The hotel is in an excellent location, great food offerings nearby and close to all the shopping.

Grand Hyatt as always a pleasant stay, everything you would expect from a hotel of this standard.

Room not ready at 3pm and when i acted a bit flustered staff said now the room is ready. Noisy can here shower or water works noise of other room from my room. Invoice does not come to my email address. I reached out but no response even after close to 24 hours.

Great location, staff genuine and made you feel like a superstar. G Loved time here.

Excellent hotel and excellent location

It was wonderful, I had a toddler with me and they were so great with him. Highly recommend the breakfast, wasn't as huge a fan of the dumplings but the rest was SO good. Dinner wasn't great but it was nice to have room service. The koala mousse is wonderful if you peel back the koala "fur" to the mousse. Excellent. The place was clean and they give you extras of everything, loved the laundry service too, that was super convenient. The pool was cold but hot tub was hot. The gym is fantastic, they have a spin studio too!! So great. It's close to great shops and the train station and the free tram and walking distance to many tourist attractions like the Melbourne museum and parks and the waterfront.

Apparently good service and kind, professional crew. Clean and well-organised, eco-friendly policy is on acceptable level. Location fantastic and comfortable. The part I didnt like was NOISE. It was so noisy that I just could naturally know when neighbor guest might take shower and use toilet, plus how strong they are when they close the door. Maybe because the building is old, but it was intolerable sometimes. Earplug should be included in the amenities.
