This was close to the perfect stay! Stayed in a very large 2 bedroom deluxe suite which was actually a separate building, more like a small house. Very clean and modern throughout.
Included a kitchen, dining room, lounge room, 2 bedrooms and nice big verandah overlooking park/bush area. Large fridge, microwave, oven top, coffee and tea, bottled water, 2 lounges, dining table, cooking utensils, crockery and cutlery.
Parking directly in front of the door (well away from the street).
Comfort bed, very quiet and a great sleep, good secure Wifi, good air conditioning in each room. Shower had good hot water and pressure. Convenient switches for reading lights.
Great meals can be ordered from a local restaurant and delivered to your room.
Nice pool and gardens. Friendly and helpful staff. Great stay and will definitely be staying again!

We had looked forward to this stopover, however from the shower not being cleaned, no soap shampoo essential led us to believe the unit had not had a complete service. The fridge left a lot to be desired with the freezer iced over and the freezer door in the bottom of the fridge. Very noisy units, not a lot of sound proofing. Skip bin full to overflowing at the end of the complex. Community kitchen was very messy. Disappointed stay, won’t be back.

Heritage Lodge was in a quiet location a little bit out of centre of Charters Towers so a 3 or 4 minute drive to shops and restaurants.
Room was large with comfortable bed overlooking gardens.

Easy check-in. Accommodating for late arrivals. Lovely friendly staff. Very clean, good facilities, no cable channels or microwave in room. Very comfy bed, clean, spacious, undercover parking & well appointed. Would definitely stay there again.
