They had the wrong room we paid for then said they would provide us a bigger room at no charge...? which was the type of room we booked. they gave us level 2 but expedia said we paid for level 3 or 4? Rooms a bit tired and out dated. Otherwise stay was ok

Kitchen had everything needed for our one night stay

Comfortable for a couple of nights, the bathroom was quite dated but useable. Kitchenette was perfect. View outstanding!

Very well located, clean, quiet, comfortable, very spacious room, friendly.

A few issues with our room but the staff were very helpful. It was a busy time as there was a football carnival on and everything was booked out.

No amenities in the room, Kitchen was empty, No tea,coffee maker , No cup or glasses,No crockery, No phone/intercom in the room, No handwash, No bathroom amenities in the room. As no intercom in the room, for every requifement one must go down to the reception and request.

Good location

For the price this was a pretty nice place. Very walkable to shops, dining, grocery stores. Very clean and modern, lots of room too

Buildings is old but keep cleaning so no problem to stay. Reception is really nice and kind. Room is very wide.

Staff were lovely. Rooms were nice and family friendly

We had to clean most surfaces as were grimy with food spills/crumbs and greasy. Utensils, crockery had to be washed eg. Cups had ‘tide’ marks, crumbs on chairs, cotton buds under sofa cushions, bin lid filthy. If the room was properly cleaned we would have rated it higher but as a positive the bed was comfortable.

Bins weren't emptied prior to weekend. Patio door difficult to lock. Water leaking in toilet.

After searching for hotels in Gladstone we chose Highpoint for the pool which looked nice and big on the website, and for onsite restaurant. Upon arrival we went to the pool and found it to be green, filthy dirty full of hoses and unusable. We were very upset as it was extreme heat conditions. We explained we had chosen this hotel because of the advertised pool facility and restaurant. Both of which were not usable. The receptionist was very understanding and agreed that it was unsatisfactory and would be refunded. We then had to search for another hotel and walk to find it. THE HOTEL NOW IS CHARGING US FOR ONE NIGHT STAY! Refusing to refund, ignoring our messages.

Food very good, nice quiet restaurant, good rooms, very central

The cooktop was very dirty and not cleaned. And the floor and lounge were disgusting. My clothes, feet and socks were all black and stained from walking around on the filthy carpet and sitting on the couch.

The staff were lovely and easy to deal with, unfortunately our room was not clean when we checked in, once we notified front reception they sent someone to fix it.
