The rooms are divine. Styled beautifully and clean. Staff were amazingly helpful too. And the view *chefs kiss*

The rooms and views were beautiful. Sraff informative and kind. Beautiful hotel. The price is great and the views soeak for themselves.

I loved this sweet little hotel! Wish we could have stayed longer. And had better weather!

Great views and nice room

Sensational view: treat yourself to the sunrise from your balcony! The room was comfortable and tastefully renovated, though I would have liked a microwave oven and more space in the bathroom for makeup etc. Poor signage and lighting makes the driveway entrance hard to see when arriving at night. The motel is outside the town centre and there is no safe walkway or nearby restaurants etc. However, the staff is very helpful and keen to make you feel welcome. We enjoyed our stay.

Comfy beds, friendly vibe and amazing views.

This is an amazing property, decorated in keeping with its era, which is a testament to the management and owners for its design and maintenance. The room was divine, with high quality linen, comfort of the bed and chaise, and the view is unsurpassed. I would highly recommend this motel as the best place to stay in Merimbula. Thankyou Hillcrest.

Good points: - Staff at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. - The bed was comfortable and sheets were clean. - Shower was hot with good pressure. Bad points: - Curtains did little to block out the 24/7 outdoor lighting directly outside the room window. It was like trying to sleep with a night light on in the room. - No climate control. The heater was turned off and the control panel locked under a cover so I was unable to turn it on. - One of the windows was jammed open so it was cold especially given the above point.

Clean, comfortable, very modern and surprisingly quiet. Staff were incredible and it was a very pleasant interaction. I will definitely stay here again

Renovated retro motel which greets you with amazing views across Merimbula as you walk through your front door and through to your balcony. The most amazing comfortable bed I've ever slept in, loved that cloud topper! Room decor was stunning. Lovely reception staff. You will need to drive into Merimbula for dining and food. A great stay.

Cool place and great staff. Wonderful view with kangaroos and parots in the garden.

Accomodation was quite good for the age of the property. It had a pool, tennis courts, laundry and free parking.Grounds were well kept and even had native wildlife.

Very nicely renovated 70's Motel.. Excellent room. Nice staff.. Great view from room. Tennis court. Swimming pool. No restaurant but we struck a special Pizza night in former restaurant..

Only comment was the shower height

Its an old style hotel that has been renovated but still has some 70s features. The room was a great size and nicely furnished. Very comfortable bed with quality linen and towels. Shower soap, hair shampoo/conditioner provided, really nice products. We are travelling up the coast for a few weeks and stayed 4 nights, so we neede the laundry facilities. For the amount of rooms, I feel there could've been another washer & dryer or clothes horse to use and at no cost. A bench for luggage, hooks in the bathroom (only one small towel rail), the shower leaked a lot. The basin was tiny for two people. Overall we really enjoyed the room and views were amazing. These few things would have made our stay just that bit more convenient.
