We went as a stopover between our trip from Melbourne to Sydney. Stayed 2 nights for kids enjoy the farm life. Good geographical location means you won't lose your time travelling too far from the highway. The cub tent is very comfortable. Luxury camping experience. Kids must like the toys and the lovely animals. We saw miniature horse, lambs, chickens, cows, wild kangaroo and wild rabbits! We saw baby lamb of 1 and 5 days old too! Ruth cooked yummy meat pie and chicken soup for us. Fantastic and feel so warm especially in the cold winter days.

The farm was absolutely beautiful! We loved feeding the animals and being greeted by them every morning. The room was clean and comfortable with aircon, kitchen facilities, our own bbq and a fridge stocked with eggs, bacon, bread, milk and spreads. I am looking forward to staying again one day!!

Tent etc a bit rundown and very close to people. Not really what we were expecting for the price! We were expecting luxury and unfortunately didn't get it. Managers were lovely though and offered many activities for free. Price to quality ratio does not seem right at all.

The facility is clean and well maintained. There is an extra charge for pets and breakfast is very basic with limited options for DIY cooking. Toiletries and amenities are basic and lacking attention.

A wonderful place for a weekend getaway in the country. Lovely views surround the property, our loft cottage had everything we needed, and the beds were very comfortable. The farm animals were a delight to be around. And the staff very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend Hillview Farmstay and hope to visit again.
